First, here is the basic information about my 2009 MacBook Pro:
OS X 10.8.2 (12C60)
Processor: 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

I have used boot camp to create a Windows Partition on my Mac and have installed Windows 7. The main reason I did so was for gaming purposes. When running Windows, when I attempt to run a game (Arma II), I get an error regarding my Display Adapter. Using Device Manager I made sure that the Display Adapter software had been updated, so I'm not sure that's the issue. The main problem is that Direct X Acceleration and Direct X 3D are "Not Available." I'm trying to find some way to enable the Direct X components and I'm not sure what to do. Is

Cannot open device manager, mmc.exe not found. Windows XP

Trying to install a program and they tell me to open device manager and update driver. When I click on device manager I get an error saying "windows cannot find mmc.exe". What do I need to do. Reloadind in not an option, I do not have the disk that did
not come with my system. Running Windows XP, Media Canter Edition, Version 2002, SP3. Any help would be great. I can get around but still a novice.

Windows installer in Windows XP mode does not install from remote desktop

I just installed Windows XP Mode and Virtual PC on a Windows 7 Professional machine. I tried to install a program that is not compatible with Windows 7, in the XP virtual machine. As I start the setup program, it launches the windows installer and then returns
an error:
"The Windows Installer does not permit installation from a remote desktop connection"
What do I do?

This is not a technical question, but I have not found a better way.
I can't find a way to send Microsoft an email with the above question
I live in Moldova, where people are used to software piracy, internet is very fast and ubiquitous, and incomes are very low. The $39.99 upgrade would be ideal to upgrade my genuine but old Vista, if only I could buy it. But Microsoft doesn't seem to care about
this. I am really curious why the 140-country list excludes us, but it's impossible to contact Microsoft directly about this. Since I feel that we are being discriminated against, I really would like to hear some no-nonsense explanation as to why this is happening.

I have Windows XP SP3 installed .For the past 8 months Microsoft Update has stated that I have no critical updates available .
I have searched the Microsoft site and downloaded and installed the KB no's manually today but would appreciate how to get
the update site to work and be able to download and install updates .This is only applicable to Windows update as my Office and other
updates appear on the site for download and install .Please can someone assist .
