This morning I logged into my PC and had a message that "This copy of Windows did not pass genuine Windows validation." I have the product key that is on the Windows XP Professional sticker on the side of my Dell PC, which I purchased directly from Dell
about 10 years ago. I try to enter this number and it says it's invalid. I called the number listed but the message said that Microsoft's phone line was not working. I need to get this fixed as soon as possible as I have tons of school work I need to finish
up before next week.

OK! Here goes... We put in a new hard drive in IBM ThinkPad. Second: tried installing/reinstalling Windows XP. That had it's problems, but finally got it done. Third: had trouble to get network up so we could get online to get updates so we can
do upgrade. Anyway, tried putting in original product key and it doesn't recognize it. Already did the key finder thing and tried to change. I can't updates without a recognized product key. We've been working on this thing for a month or more. It was
said that you could obtain another product key for $10, but when you went to where you were supposed to, it did not direct you.

I bought a Windows XP upgrade CD many years ago to upgrade from ME and Win 95. I have been using XP and had SP3. I have been audited by Microsoft during upgrades without problem. I googled my product key (XXXXX-XXXXX-26VM4-FX8CC-GDPD8) from the CD found
in unattend.txt file and others had the same key id. Isn't the product key unique for each CD? Is it possible to get a free replacement Windows XP CD or product ID code? My hard drive crashed and I need to reinstall Windows XP.

I have Windows Vista - Home Premium and wanted to uprade - just purchased windows 7 professional online got product key and cant find where to do download. Also in serching it looks like I can't upgrade to windows professional!!! Who do I get in touch with
and with who - automated t/c isn't getting it I need to talk to a person! Can anyone direct me to the right source? Thanks.
