Original title: I'm unable to get my computer past the Windows XP screen without a blue screen, keeps rebooting.
When I turn my computer on I keep getting this message:
Stop: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Session Manager Initialization system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc000026c (0x00000000 0x00000000).
The system has been shut down.
I have tried this step: Windows Advanced Options Menu and was able to "Disable automatic restart on system failure" to get the entire error message.
as well as this step: On the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to highlight
Last Known Good Configuration, and then press ENTER - but still get the blue screen.
PLEASE HELP!!

not found is the error message). Does anyone knows alternative sites or anyone at Microsoft so that I can send an email to thme :-)? If it may solve the long-lasting problem of Windows XP (e.g., How to Install East Asian Language Language Pack without XP

I want to install Japanese language in my windows XP Professional. But, I don't have CD Installer. So, I tried to search how to install it without CD installer. I'm just got this way for Office XP until now.
The first, I installed Japanese Language Pack http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8289 And it have been successful. Then I restarted my computer, but it still cannot read Japanese letters.
And I installed Global IME (Japanese) http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=22917
While it was installing, the error message appeared. And it said this setup require Office XP. I feel strange because the page said that Japanese Language Pack required Office XP, not Global IME(Japanese) said that. But, whe

Hallo,
I have a netbook with windows xp pro 32-bit installed on it. plus i have windows 7 lite edition that i want to install on my netbook. ofcourse there is no cd drive. Now... i know there is a way to install it from a usb but i want to try and go one step further. I want to create a partition in the hard drive that will contain the install of the windows 7 and use it every time i need to format my netbook. (Just like HP machines....)
So far i know that i need to make a 4GB primary partition in FAT32 system, of my disk and to make bootable i have to go to the disk management and choose (make partition active). Every one says that this option will make my 4GB partition bootable. what i believe is that if i make this move, without makin

I have three user accounts on my Windows XP. I haven't used the PC for about 12 months as I had purchased a laptop with Vista. Now when I go to log into my user it's asking for a password. I have forgotten my password & cannot see an icon providing
me with a password hint. This is the same for the other user account & the third account is a guest account which is accessible. I have docs & itunes on the users which passwords are being asked for. Can you provide me with a solution to this problem please.
Is there a password hint button??

Password Logon (Windows XP SR1)
location:
winsecrets.com - date:

Norton AntiVirus told me that I can't run the automatic Live Update in Windows XP unless I have a password in Windows Task Scheduler, which Norton uses, and a logon password. I created these passwords and my Live Update has come alive OK. My problem now is that when I logon or reboot I get a Logon Failed window over the window where I'm to enter my password before I've even tried to enter a password. This window says that I've typed my password incorrectly & make sure my user name and domain are correct. It also gives me an option to use a password reset disk which whether I use it or just click the OK has the same effect - the logon failed window goes away and it allows me to logon with the orignal password. One other thing I did

Scanning a 32-bit XP PC for Windows 8 compatibility without forking out for Win 8 in advance
location:
microsoft.com - date:
April 29, 2013
How do I do this exactly? The Upgrade assistant won't run on 32-bit XP ("This platform is not supported" and the pre-release version of W8 (which apparently would have run a pre-installation check) seems now to be unavailable.
Can I run something to check what of the bit and bobs on my 32-bit XP machine are incompatible without having to buy Windows 8 first? I'd really like to know in advance.
BTW, my processor is compatible (checked it out with coreinfo.exe). Also I'm aware that the Win 8 would be a clean install, not an upgrade. I'd prpobably buy a new SSD and run a dual boot with the existing XP.
Cheers,
mg
