windows xp login no password

I have windows xp but no wi-fi. I want to connect an Ipod with wi-fi. What do I have to do?

I have ADSL internet. There is no wi-fi in CONTROL PANEL / NETWORK CONNECTIONS.  I don't want a wi-fi service, just an ad-hoc(?) connection for the ipod while at home.  All the advice i read assumes there is already wi-fi in the control panel / network connections.  What do I need to do?

Windows xp sp3 No critical updates available

I have Windows XP SP3 installed .For the past 8 months Microsoft Update has stated that I have no critical updates available . I have searched the Microsoft site and downloaded and installed the KB no's manually today but would appreciate how to get the update site to work and be able to download and install updates .This is only applicable to Windows update as my Office and other updates appear on the site for download and install .Please can someone assist .

Windows XP user account password

I have three user accounts on my Windows XP.  I haven't used the PC for about 12 months as I had purchased a laptop with Vista.  Now when I go to log into my user it's asking for a password.  I have forgotten my password & cannot see an icon providing me with a password hint. This is the same for the other user account & the third account is a guest account which is accessible.  I have docs & itunes on the users which passwords are being asked for. Can you provide me with a solution to this problem please.  Is there a password hint button??

Windows XP system restore no administrator password

im trying to perform a system restore or re installation with XP home edition when i put it in the second screeen asks to boot from cd so i go through that blue screen were it loads the disk then i get the option of continue repair or exit i press repair and it goes to a black screen and asks what to repair i type 1 for C drive then it asks for administrator password and i dont know where we would get it or if we have on and when i type something it says invalid command type HELP for list of commands does anyone know what is the correct command or where to get administrator password from.
