How to find out if an *.exe is 32bit or 64bit without starting it?
location:
7forums.com - date:
December 21, 2011
Is there a way to find out if a given *.exe file is 32bit or 64bit executable.
The program should ...
- NOT be started (and investigated in TaskManager)
- NOT be installed and checked if it is installed in C:\Program files (x86) or not
- NOT be checked at the authors site
I am searching a tool which takes the *.exe as parameter and investigates the binary code to find out the 32bit or 64bit property

Upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 8 - Help & How-to - Microsoft

Dear Sir/Madam,
It appears that you guys are taking regular payments from my VISA card, but I am not sure why? My computer is a Windows XP dimension 4700 and about 6-7years old, and the memory seems maxed out, making it very slow! I want to upgrade, but wonder if I would
be better to purchase a new computer first, or being that money is currently limited, instead just upgrade to Windows 7 or 8? If I do this, then can I transfer the 7 or 8 at a later date to a new computer?
Respectfully
