how to close a folder using command prompt in windows xp (cmd version 2)

I am going to autorun a vbs script that supposedly detects when A folder is open and it will start a batch file. I need that file to close the folder not explorer.exe I didn't try explorer.exe, but I assume all my stuff will dissapear leaving only the
desktop. I am using command prompt version 2 on the windows XP professional operating system.

Instructions said to click on "Enter" and then click on "My computer" When I click on Enter, there's nothing in the list that comes up that says
"My Computer" . Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would like my guest account to be able to log on to the internet
I have tried the control panel i just do not see any options to permit access
When i log on to the guest account and try to log on to my Browser unable to connect
Some one please help i would like my family online but not with admin use.

One suggestion that I tried said to Open the 'Start' Menu, Hit the 'Run' appl., and then type in "Dupfinder". This did NOT work! I have too many Contiguous files in my drive C:, and it's showing after 'defragging'. I only have 19% Space left, and I need
to free up MORE!! Can 'Anyone' help me find the Duplicate/Contiguous files?

How to lock out a modem? (Windows XP Pro, fully patched)

I have two modems on my system. One is an internal WinModem on my main phone line. The other is an External modem on my line 2 ( for internet). The problem I'm having is that, even though I have the external modem set for my ISP dial up, on occasion the system does not detect it, and automatically reverts to the internal WinModem and dials out. (locking up my main phone line). Is there any way to lock out that modem so the system cannot use it without first ASKING? I use it on occasion for faxing out on my main line while still online on line 2, so I don't want to take it out, I just don't want the bloody system to use it for internet dial up, unless it's an emergency and I specifically WANT it to.
