I tether my cell (Samsung Galaxy) to mky comp. for my internet connection. I mjade the mistake of using a hot spot (Atheros) and somehow changed my IP address to a MAC. Now I am using MY cell tethering again and it won't connect me to my wirerless HP printer.
How do I re establish a windows 7 IP address?

i need your help, i got Windows 7 PC, so i have couple of questions.
1)-which version of IE i have, how to find out in my PC, i mean in which settings or where I can go to see which version of IE is installed in my PC, like IE 8 or IE9 etc.
2)-If I install Windows 7 SP1 on my PC then which version on IE it will come with SP1 package, i mean it will comes with IE8 or IE9 or IE10.

I upgraded from windows 7 to 8; I'm happy with it, but I also downloaded office 2013 preview before that.
I want to know what version windows I have and if I have got office 2013in the install, or if I need to purchase that later.

I'm trying to spoof my wireless MAC address in Windows 8.
Hotels have wifi internet, but you need to open a webpage to connect to it first, well Roku player does not allow you to do this. So I'm trying to spoof the MAC address so I can sign in 'being' the Roku player and then switch it back.
However, so far I have been unsuccessful, it refuses to change the MAC address for the wireless adapter (I've tried the controle panel, registry and apps to do this).
Anybody know how to force this?

Hi,
I need to find the MAC Address of my Laptop (Acer Aspire V5) to get an internet connection where I live (student campus).
I've tried with the command prompt, writing ipconfig /all and choosing the static address shown. But it begins with 68 ... and the connection owner said it must begin with 00. All other addresses shown in this page don't begin with 00!

Reading around, it seems the state of things at Microsoft has changed drastically since W10 was announced.
Most frighteningly they changed the name of the updater and left this article to depreciate

Horrifyingly that is still the top result for Windows Update Client because everything sucks.

Epson XP-400: how to find its IP address?

This should be simple. I have an Epson XP-400. It works great. I recently bought a Chromebook. Supposedly, the XP-400 can also serve as a Cloud Printer. In order to assign it as such, I need it's IP address. I have found some instructions that involve looking at the printer's control panel Wi-Fi set-up, but for some reason I cannot find the IP address.
Can someone mention a way for me to get that information? Hopefully, after that, I can somehow get it registered as a cloud printer.
