Windows XP mode transfer files
location:
microsoft.com - date:

I am currently using Windows XP Mode to run WinSCP because of compatibility issues when installed directly in Windows 7.
WinSCP, as you may know, is an FTP client. My question is, how can I easily transfer files that I have on my Windows 7 machine onto the WinSCP program? Is there a way that Virtual PC can map my local drives so that I can see them within WinSCP? Would drag-and-drop
be a feature the Windows team consider for a future release??

Does downgrading from Windows 8 to Windows 7 delete program files and partitions?
location:
microsoft.com - date:
June 1, 2013
Hi I currently have a Windows 8 64bit laptop and I want to downgrade it to Windows 7. I wanted to know if I would need to purchase a new Windows 7 OS installation disk for full price or can I download it for free from Microsoft since it is a downgrade.
Also, if I downgrade, would the preinstalled programs and files be deleted? So for example, my computer uses intel's rapid start technology and has a custom partition to help it boot faster, etc. So by downgrading, would I have to do reinstall all of that
or is it like kind of like an upgrade where it keeps all your settings and programs, etc.

How to completely delete all files of an App in Windows 8?
location:
microsoft.com - date:
January 27, 2013
I tried an App (not free) in windows 8. I didn't want to buy it so I uninstalled it and settled for the free version of the App. However, my computer is not detecting that I have the free version already. I keeps on checking for the price of the App and
I cannot use the free version well.
How can I solve this? Deleting all files related to that App (especially with the paid version), I think, would help, but I do not know how to do that.
