I attached a JPG and you can see which last update that is installed. Suddenly stop after December 16 ?!
I check this forum and try this :
For 64-bit Windows, the second line differs due to the location of the DLL file: net stop wuauserv
regsvr32 %windir%\syswow64\wups2.dll
net start wuauserv
That didnt work.
I want to tell you guys that I have some BSOD sometime but I have BSOD before my Windows Update problem. We will try to fix my Windows Update probl

my xbox headset dont work properly since i updated to windows 8 it dont detect the ear piece i have to have audio coming thru the speakers

I use a xbox 360 gamepad and a wired mic and steam and ts3 detect the mic but don't detect the earpiece I have to select it to come out of my speakers when it used to work on win 7 yesterday

hi all
First I know this has been asked a many times but no solutions seems to work for me. I have a bunch of stuff going wrong and all seems to related to each other.
I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
That is how the problem progressed:
1. I was trying to enable Telnet service and found out that 'Turn Windows Features on/off' in Control panel > Programs and Features is a blank list.
I checked on internet and i found out that it means my windows update wont be working as well so i check it:
2. Windows update gives the error 80070002 and it does not check for updates.
3. Again check net and it said to run sfc/scannow in command prompt (as administrator). I did it. and it gives error 'Windows Resource Protection can't e

Gadgets just DONT work anymore!

A few days ago my Clock, CPU Moniter and RIVA Tuner Gadgets just crashed on my desktop, they wouldnt dsiplay and only showed boxes and outlines.
I removed them.
When I tried to put them back I got the same Problem, none of my gadgets are displaying properly and I have NO idea why.
I restarted and tried again same problem
Someone please help. I feel so limited without a CPU Load and Temp guage on my PC
I run Win 7 Ultimate 64Bit on a 4GHz Quad with 16Gigs of RAM and a GTX570 so it cant be a hardware problem

seagate 3tb expansion with windows 7 dont work

About 3 months ago i purchased seagate 3TB expansion USB 3.0 external hard drive.
all worked well apart from windows 7 not being able to see that hard drive to do a back up which at this stage im not Concerned with this issue.
Now i have a 250Gb SSD with the same OS installed, now i plug in the external hard drive into a usb 3 slot & windows 7 shows there is a seagate external hard drive connected as "H drive" but will not read it.according to windows 7 the driver is working properly. i have uninstalled the usb driver & reinstalled with no luck, i have also tried to open up my computer management but it just freezes whilst i have the external hard drive pluged in. i have also plug the external hard drive into all availab

[SOLVED] Frequent BSoDs since the windows update on feb 16

Immediately after Windows 8 was finished updating on February 16, I suffered my first BSOD ever in Windows 8 and several more followed it on the same day until I gave up on Firefox entirely and avoided using any browser for the rest of the day.
I hypothesized that Firefox + the update was causing the BSoDs, but it's still happening now that I've pretty permanently switched back to Chrome.
I'd never had Windows 8 blue screen on me before the update and I didn't start doing anything weird*; it's definitely the update that initiated this flood of full-computer crashes );
The last thing I've got to say is it seems to always happen when I'm running a lot of things? Nothing that would have caused problems

just curious if my system is still up to date which im really sure... even tho i did a clean install of windows 7 professional 64bit. im pretty good at getting drivers but also looking to see if theres something missing whats the best driver update thats legit? driver genious? let me know your opinons on this plz. thanks.

Windows update not working since last patch tuesday

Hi
I've had issues trying to install all of last Tuesday's updates, some of the updates refuse to install & some change the boot drive from C to D & Windows automatic repair wont fix the issue.
Now I have issues with Windows update, it just keeps reporting an error that Microsoft's Fix It tool cant fix.
I've run the SURT tool & done the SFC scan & both haven't fixed the issue either.
Windows update gives error code: 8024402F Code:
