I am the proud owner of a 64GB Microsoft Surface RT with Touch Cover and I love the device. This is my first Windows 8 machine and I am very much enjoying it in this form factor.

Facebook chat "no one online" on Windows 8, Windows Phone 7.8, Skype

Ok, so everything was working fine, and yesterday i noticed first that on my Nokia Lumia 900 (windows phone 7.8) in messaging i was getting "no one is online". Then on Skype the same thing, everybody shows offline. After that i checked the people hub on
Windows 8, same thing, no one online. I don't know if facebook is changing the chat system and if this is happening only to me.. so any suggestions are welcomed. Thank You.

Purchased Windows 8 Apps in Windows Phone?

Hi, I just purchased a new Windows Phone, and I love it.
However, I am wondering:
Is it possible that purchased Windows 8 apps can be transferred to a Windows Phone with the same Microsoft account (e.g. Cocktail Flow on Windows 8 can be also installed on a Windows Phone provided that the same Microsoft account is used.)
Is it possible? Or is the Windows Store and the Windows Phone Store two different stores? Thanks.

My Surface Pro using windows phone 8 app cannot recognize my Lumia 920.

File explorer sees it fine. What's up with that?
My HP H8 with Windows 8 works OK with this same phone and the WP8 app.
I think something is wrong with the WP8 app + Surface Pro. Any ideas?

Computer history
A few months back my Creative zen mp3-player suddenly was no longer recognized by
windows 7 computer (about two years of age). I didn't do much to solve this problem at the time as all other USB applications (sticks, external hardrive) still worked and I could use a SD-card to transfer music and other data.
The problem
However last Friday I received my new smartphone Nokia Lumia 620. One of the reasons for buying a phone with Windows 8 was the presupposed compatability with my Windows 7 computer. And I was eager to finally transfer music and other data easily. Unfortunately,
the phone wasn't and still isn't recognized by computer. The problem lies with the computer, not the phone, for a much older Windos XP comput
