When I log into my laptop or wake it up from sleep mode, my laptop won't connect to the internet. It says "not connected, no connections available". I have to turn off my wireless receiver then turn it back on just to be able to connect. This problem
is starting to become annoying. I have tried the power manager stuff, the TCP/IPv6 stuff and still no results. I would greatly appreciate assistance.

Windows 7 Black Screen when booting up
location:
microsoft.com - date:
August 8, 2010
I am getting the "Black Screen of Death" when booting up, it started a couple of days ago with no change in hardware configuration, no new software was installed, and I don't believe there was a Windows Update. The Black Screen happens after the Windows Logo
appears, right before the login screen. I was able to go into Safe Mode and disable the display adapter which then let me restart and boot up normally (no black screen, although the resolution is not good).
After disabling the Display Adapter I booted up normally and then tried System Restore, first going back a few days and then as far as a month.
I also tried uninstalling the Graphics Card Driver and reinstalling with the latest Intel HD Graphics Card driver, and then tried inst

location:
7forums.com - date:

have a Dell Inspirion 1525 with Windows 7 RC dual booting with MacOS 10.5.8 on two separate partitions on one 160GB drive.
Windows 7 has been running great since installing on release day, this morning after i turned my laptop on, i got to the Windows bootloader, selected Windows 7, it then goes to a blank screen with the hard drive light constantly on. left it for about 10 minutes, nothing.
my MacOS install on the second partition still works 100%.
i tried a few things, startup repair from the Win 7 install DVD, it sees my Win 7 install on C: but gave an error saying it couldn't fix, the error report mentioned something about "startuprepairoffline" & "NoOSinstalled".
then tried a system restore from the

CMD screen at boot-up with Mr. Grims...
location:
7forums.com - date:
April 18, 2011
I found a website where I was able to download all of Mr. Grims Icon Packs with the Installers. They where all compresses in a .7zip folder. I have never used this sight before, but I downloaded it anyway just because I'm dumb. Before I unzipped the folder, I did do a scan with Avast and Malwarebytes and they both came back clean. So I proceded to install the x64 Black Glass Icon Pack with the installer. Well, now every time I boot up there seems to be a CMD (or something like it) screen that pops up very quickly and then goes away. The Icon in the task bar shows just shows a page icon with the top left icon bent downward. So my question is, does anyone else get this when they downloaded the original?
I would have downloaded it directly fr

Office 13 fails to appear in the Windows 8 start screen after a re-install.
location:
microsoft.com - date:
March 29, 2013
I recently installed Office 13 in my Windows 8 and it appeared in the Start screen as apps which made access easier. However, whenever I uninstall it and re-install it again, it fails to appear as an installed program in Windows 8(Win key +F) but it appears
as installed programs in the control panel. Is there a way to pin it back to the Windows 8 screen so that it can be easier to access the various Office programs. Any help will be appreciated.

My Windows 8 PC will not boot up at all..... stuck on BIOS
location:

This is frustrating. Extremely frustrating.
I have a pretty new computer. Just a few months old. It is supposed to be a good one.
Dell XPS 8500
Quad core i7 processor
lots of memory and extras
This computer also has the 64 bit edition of Windows 8 installed on it. Windows 8 is driving me up the wall!!! I have had numerous problems with it since day 1.
As recently as a few days ago, my system was running reasonably okay. Then I downloaded a driver for my network card from the dell.com website. From that point on, I cannot get my computer to boot up properly. I have turned my computer off and on multiple times in hopes that it would correct whatever is wrong.
When I first turn my PC on, it will stay stuck at the Dell logo w
