try to click right on windows 8 to delete or print my pictures but not responding appears everytime. cannot get into cloud either using my microsoft account

I upgraded to windows 8 about 2 weeks ago from Vista. I found my old programs in the windows.old folder and reset up my desktop links to their location in the windows.old folder. and everything ran fine. I have a 100GB SSD drive that I use for my OS and
my main programs. It asked that I free up roughly 5GBs so that there be 20GB of free space. So I ran the disk clean up tool and got ride of a lot of old temp files. I think it ended up being nearly 7GBs of data freed. This was about a week ago. Still everything
worked fine.
And then I come home from work, wake my desktop up from sleep, mess around a bit in a game that was in the windows.old folder and used Firefox which was also in the windows.old folder and then put the PC to sleep

Why did upgrading to windows 8 pro delete the files in my recycle bin? Does it move the files back to there original location or did it just delete them when you update? I didn't get a warning or anything saying it would delete the files in my recycle
bin. Has anyone else had this problem? please help.

(1) I am an user in India in a city called COIMBATORE. The nearest airport is PEELAMEDU. However BING weather tile always shows weather over DELHI our capital. Can I alter the default location as Coimbatore (or Peelamedu)
(2) There are no options for various items in MAIL except for deleting same.Can this gidget function like Windows Live Mail or any other type of mail server?
(3) How do I change the color of each tile? Can I edit each tile for color,edit name, or shape?
