Ok I just upgraded to windows 8. I first install it, and then I Re-install it again using UEFI mode install. On this screen (below), I Forgot! to click "NEW", (I just went ahead and click next). Now this is what I get: So did I ended up with the correct installation results? Thanks

My friend installed windows 8 for me in the last 5 days and i just messed it up [don't ask why] i never installed a windows before and in windows 8 there is a option that can re-install your PC right so if i use that option and put my DVD in my tray and click yes do i have to install windows 8 or the PC just does it itself i mean i don't have to do anything after it right? plus this is the 4th time I'm changing my windows won't this mess up my laptop [I Didn't re-install rapidly :| but with this one it would count as the second time as i rapidly re-install my windows 8] Thank You

Does the Windows 8 Upgrade Backup DVD have an install.wim or an install.esd?

The Download of the Windows 8 pro Upgrade does contain an install.esd file, while the Retail package has the usual install.wim file. When ordering the Backup DVD together with the Download, which one of these files will be on this DVD?

Downgraded from windows 8 pro and I have major problems

Hello all I really need help with this situation please. I just now downgraded to windows 7 ultimate x64 from windows 8 pro x64 now the problem is I cant install any driver, I did a clean installation formatted primary partition of windows 8 and installed windows 7 ultimate. What to do now please when I go to driver folder I downloaded from hp support drivers the pc cant read the cva file of installation and im stuck with it no nothing can be installed whenever I press on it I get the open with option, I cant connect to internet wireless or with cable ive attached some pictures I hope someone help me. I did a clean installation thrice and same problem My laptop is HP pavilion g6 1320se which came with windows 7 and supports windows 8 too

windows 8 cannot install on a dynamic disk?

when i try to install windows 8 on a new volume it says that the volume is dynamic..am not sure what that means but can i work around it? saw an article about converting a dynamic disk to a basic disk..now is it possible to just convert a partition(where i want to install windows 8) or do i have to convert the entire hard drive? am sure right now you've figured out that am trying a dual boot.

Windows 8 Clean Install from Upgrade Disk to SSD with no Operating System

I'm about to build a new pc and would like to know if I need to buy a full version of Windows 8 or can I use the update version to do a clean install on a disk drive which does not contain any operating system? It was possible to install Windows 7 from an upgrade rather than having to buy the full version so can something similar be done with Windows 8 and still be legitimate within the licence agreement?

Greetings to All. I badly want to install Microsoft Windows 8 on my system. My University is a member of Microsoft DreamSpark Premium Program, and hence I have an account on it. On DreamSpark Download Page, there are two editions or versions available for download. One is: Microsoft Windows 8 Professional 64-bit (English) - DreamSpark and the other is: Microsoft Windows 8 Debug/Checked Build 64-bit (English) - DreamSpark What is the difference between the two editions. What is meant by Debug/Checked? Which edition will be suitable for me? Another question: Is Windows 8 available on DreamSpark, the final version? Windows 8 is not yet released in markets? Will this DreamSpark version expire when Windows 8 will be officially launched?
