Would like screen to always revert back to Windows 8 tiles
location:
microsoft.com - date:
April 21, 2013
Is there a way, after closing a program, for the screen to return to the new Windows 8 tiles instead of constantly reverting to what looks like the old Windows 7 icons? I always have to click on the bottom right of the screen to get Windows 8 tiles back.

Problem with Windows 8 and Group Policy Item Level Targeting IP Range Filter
location:
microsoft.com - date:
April 10, 2013
Hello,
I have a problem with GPP item
level targeting, and IP Range
filtering in Windows 8 I have the
Group Policy logging and tracing enabled and
the log file suggests the
IP filter fails in.
In Windows 7, everything works properly.
Then I tested a few times IP
Ranges in Windows 8 and here is the result:
MY IP: 192.168.156.86
IP RANGE TEST:
0.0.0.0 -> 255.255.255.255 PASSED
1.0.0.0 -> 255.255.255.255 PASSED
2.0.0.0 &nb

Windows 8 tiles blurry/out of focus
location:
8forums.com - date:
October 16, 2012
Hello all. I just noticed this issue on my computer a few days ago and it's been bothering me. Some of the icons for the tiles on my Windows 8 are blurry. It's nothing major, but they're not as crisp or high resolution as I remember. It's only noticeable when the live tiles are either turned off, or the tiles aren't displaying any updates at the moment. Here's a picture: http://i.imgur.com/rWIZb.png You can see that with Mail, Skydrive, Camera, Maps, Music, and Store, the icons are all a little bit fuzzy and not as high resolution as they should be. This occurs with all other tiles as well when the live function is turned off. Is this intended or not? I know it's minor but it really bothers me. Thanks for any help you can give me!

windows 8 tiles not opening
location:
microsoft.com - date:
February 7, 2013
I have windows 8, I had a problem with the tiles not opening from day one, some of the tiles open but some do not. They start to open when clicked on but then revert back to tiles page without opening. I had a tech support agent take over my computer for
3 hours a while back and attempt to fix this. He did by giving my computer a new name and reloading all of my information. However it is doing this again, and basically renders the tiles uesless I just use the desktop page because the tiles do not work. I
am disappointed though because I paid for windows 8 and I want it to work properly.
