"Restart to repair drive errors" keep showing up after reboot
location:
microsoft.com - date:

Hi all,
I recently used the error checking tool on my internal hard drive on my laptop. It found errors and told me to reboot. Now everytime I boot my pc a message in the action center pops up saying "Restart to repair drive errors", and no matter how many times I
try, it still tells me there are drive errors.
I can't seem to find any more details on the exact errors. I run Windows 8 Pro. Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction?
EDIT: Running Chkdsk from the command promt returns a similar error, albeit a little more wordy: "Chkdsk cannot run because the volume [the C: drive, the one that has errors -RF] in in use by another process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be checked

Restart to repair drive errors
location:
winsecrets.com - date:

I am running win 8.1 Pro 64 bit with all of the latest updates.
I occasionally get a popup that tells me to restart to repair drive errors. When I click to restart the PC it runs check disk and gets to about 30% complete and than jumps to 100% and reboots and runs check disk again with the same results. if I catch it at the right time and hit any key to bypass check disk it loads and runs normally.
I have a Kingston 120GB SSD hard drive and they replaced it for me. The new drive has the same problem. I made a drive image and installed my system on a Silicone Dust 120GB SSD while I was waiting for the drive from Kingston. The Silicon Dust gave the same errors. I imaged a 500GB Seagate SATA drive and have the same problem. If I take

Windows 8 desktop mode: Library errors!
location:

Very recently I attempted to open the 'Documents' tab, in the Windows 8 desktop application. In an attempt to access a specific file of which I required. However I am now incapable of doing so, due to an error. Of which also prevents me from opening the following folders Music, Pictures and Videos. Previous to now, I had on multiple occasions, utilized the ability to edit and create files in the Windows 8 desktop application. And so it is rather bothersome to have such an unexpected issue be present. It is of great hope, that any whom read this post, may provide assistance in this matter. Thank You.

User section and Windows Update section of PC Setting in Windows 8 is missing.
When opened from Control Panel > User Accounts > Make changes to my account in PC setting,

I have already tried Microsoft safety scanner, sfc /scannow, automatic repair and logging using hidden Administrator account.
My power plan option page is also missing and when tried to open setting, "cannot open access control editor. the activation requires the display name to be present under CLSID key. Also while trying to open network connection properties, "An unexpected

windows 8 system repair disk doesn't work
location:

i've tried to use my self-created windows 8 system repair disk on several occasions to restore an system image i've made (i've made at least 4 and all of them were successfully created, according to windows 8). unfortunately the repair disk doesn't boot...
all i can hear is the dvd drive reading the disc, and then spinning down, and then spinning back up. it cycles through this process. i've let it go for as long as 5 or 10 minutes and nothing happens, just the windows 8 logo on the screen. i finally get tired
and eject the cd, and a blue screen comes on saying that system32/winload.exe is corrupt or missing. i have a feeling it has to do with those pesky digitally signed files, since i can't use easybcd any longer to control my bo

Windows 8 automatic repair loop, won't boot to dvd or usb bootable
location:
microsoft.com - date:
November 3, 2012
I've recently upgraded to windows 8 pro, but got the infamous automatic reboot loop. Nothing I can do works.I tried everything but it gave me error. Long story short, whatever I do on the screen,it always gets me back to automatic repair (hence the loop).
Here's the problem:
1. I tried to boot into usb or dvd to revert back to windows 7 by a clean install, but BIOS wont detect them, it will always go back to automatic repair. (and yes, ive prioritized boot priority on BIOS setup) Note this is on UEFI boot mode.
When I tried using legacy boot mode instead of UEFI, BIOS boots from usb and disc fine with no problem, only problem is I cannot install windows 7 because disk type is GPT instead of MBR.
Note that during booting with UEFI m
