How do I make programs available to different users in windows 8 on the same computer?

How do I make programs available to different users in Windows 8 on the same computer? It's very nice to have my settings and apps go with me from device to device--but if I have MS Office under my sign in, how does my wife use it under hers? It doesn't
seem right to have to install it under both profiles as that's an incredible waste of hard drive space! Any suggestions?

windows 8 install from purchased DVD. No option to keep settings and programs. Help Please

I have a windows 7 machine. Not a brand name but custom built by a local shop. It is a legitimate OEM version of windows 7 pro with service pack 1.
I purchased the upgrade DVD from Staples for windows 8 pro. When I run the install I get to the screen where it says Choose what to Keep and the only option is keep nothing. I do not want to do a clean install. I understood that if you have windows 7 you
would have the option to keep your programs and settings and everything I have read indicates I should have this option. Any suggestions??

I have set up two user names, I loaded MS Office in my user name, then added another user, able to switch between users OK but cannot work out how to share the program,

Windows 8 refresh, removed programs and touch screen not working
location:

Using Windows 8, and some apps would stop working and go back to the Start screen. So I ran the "Refresh your PC w/o Affecting Files". It removed most of my programs (Norton, Microsoft Office among others) and now my HP TouchSmart 320 PC, touch screen
doesn't work. How do I get back my programs and get the touch screen to respond like before I "Refreshed"?

After installing 8 and going thru a refresh, I have lost several features. Office 2010 disappeared, facial recognition quit working, camera gave a problem message, etc. I did get a compatibility message for several of the programs when trying to reinstall.
Is there a solution to the compatibility problem and will Microsoft let you download office without a key

I just upgraded to Windows 8 on my pc. In doing so, the upgrade apparently wiped out all of my current programs including my microsoft office package (Office 2007 and my outlook mail fro Office 2003). Is there any way to resurrect them?
