I have tested Windows 8 Enterprise Trial version on a laptop that was previously running Vista and am happy with the performance. However, I now want to convert to Windows 8 Pro full version (upgrade price £24.99 in UK). Is there a way to do this without
re-installing Vista then upgrading using the Windows 8 Upgrade assistant

Upgraded my Windows 8 pro to Win 8 Enterprise and can't change product key to activate the software.

I just upgraded my Windows 8 pro to Win 8 Enterprise.
When I went to activate the software, Win 8 won't allow me to change the product key to the new key provided by Microsoft.
I installed the Win 8 2 weeks ago and had the same problem, I was able to change the key, but I neglected to bookmark the solution and now I can't find it again.
I tried to issue the command "slmgr.vbs -ipk" from the run command but the system tells me that I need "elevated" privileges, even though I am the administrator."
Windows 8 control panel doesn't give me the option to change the product key.
