I completed a System Recovery and then went to upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 8 Pro Pac and get two errors: 1) "Your Computer is already running Windows 8", but (in System Properties) for 89.99 I can still purchase what I just downloaded. 2) I have a
Product Key clearly for Windows 8 Pro but I get "this key won't work". how you figure won't work? I can' find that key online or in my email and it should work.

I have laptop with pre-installed windows 8 standard version. I intent to upgrade to the pro version through Windows 8 pro pack. Actually, I have tried to buy it online through 'add features' menu, but unfortunately they didn't recognize my card. So, I
intent to buy it on local store. I have searched in local store, since I live in Taiwan right now, I found that they sell windows 8 pro pack chinese. Mine is english version when I choose to at the first time.
My question, is there any Windows 8 pro pack version based on language? Can I upgrade mine using the 'chinese version'?

I'm running Windows 8 and just purchased the Windows 8 Pro Pack. When I try to add it as a feature, I get the message "Something went wrong. Close this wizard and try again." I've tried it over and over, rebooted, etc.. And I continue to receive the
same message.

Unfortunately I have a similar problem. I purchased the upgrade to Windows 8 Pro (which worked perfectly well) however I was also sold the Windows Pro Pack key package which was supposed to allow the addition of additional features such as Remote Desktop
(RDP) (which I need) and BitLocker (which I want) to the normal Windows Pro installation. I tried following the instructions in the Windows Pro Pack and received the message "the product key wont work, Please try again or use another product key". After
attempting the installation several times (in case I had made a typo) I returned the Pro Pack installation pack to the retail store and exchanged it for another. The retailer said they had received sever

If I buy a Pro Pack product key now can I wait to use it a year or two down the road. I believe I saw a post somewhere in the forum that said it would be good for a few years but I can't find that specific information on Microsoft's site.
