windows 8 pro freezes. then stops when unpluged?

Hello.
I really like windows 8, but im most likely going back to windows 7 because of all the problems im haveing with windows 8, being lag and random freezeing.
So i was on youtube, trying to watch a video and it froze, and my laptop charger being a replacement, it slips out a lot, when it came out the video started working fine again, after that, i have noticed my computer stops lagging when my laptop isnt plugged in. as soon as i plug my laptop in, 5-10 seconds later i freeze,not matter what im on, youtube or just my desktop, it happens. can someone help me fix this?
Dell inspiron 1521 3gb ram 120GB hd

Windows 8 Pro drops wifi connection when user RDPs into the box

If you have a Windows 8 device that is connected to the network via Wifi... (In my case a Samsung Series 7 slate), when a user connects to the device using RDP from another machine the RDP session begins the login process but after a few seconds the client
is diconnected. If you then log in directly on the Windows 8 console it shows the user is still logged in (since it was sucesfull afterall) but when you get to the desktop you can see the wifi connection is off and must be reestablished (which it does

Why does Microsoft refuse to provide a link to the Windows 8 Pro Upgrade 64 bit when their upgrade downloader is clearly broken?

Title says it all. Went through trying to upgrade a Win 7 64 bit machine today. The upgrade assistant hung up and said it can't connect to download. Nothing wrong with the internet connection of the PC. Tried many "fixes" from various forums, no change.
Went to another machine, used the link in the confirmation email to try to download to that machine, same result. Waited until coming home from work and tried it on yet another machine, same result. Called support. Referred me to the same two .exe files (standard

I was sent an offer to upgrade to windows 8 pro and then told by windows 8 installer not available for my area???? I live in Victoria Australia. If the offer email can be sent to my area why can't the upgrade???. Why can't I ask microsoft a simple question
without being sent to page after page, I don't want to spend time reading all the FAQ's. I could just google the answer if I want to do that. I wanted a definate answer from microsoft as this is and offer that runs out this week.

Windows 8 Pro randomly freezes ( full version 2012)

i had windows 7 on 1 year old pc with 6gb ram and ADM x4 - gt8500 nvidia video card.
for some reason i can work for a while and for some in a while it freezes.
i had nt that problem with windows 7. why is that?
i formated the hdd and install the full version of windows

I purchased my Windows 8 Pro from an Australian retailer and installed it but all my apps show UK settings and prices especially in the store app. I have changed my time and date to Sydney Australia and where I can have changed accounts to Australia. Can
