Hi, i recently purchased a game for my windows 8 laptop. i install it and everything seems just fine. But when i go to run it after install i get the following error message (from windows),
'You must be an administrator in order to install.
Please log on as an administrator'

Hi all,
I am dumbfounded by Windows 8. Maybe it's just me but nothing seems to work at all right out of the bat after having installed Windows 8 Professional (x86) version. It all began by noticing the presumed Windows 8 store tile was actually missing from the
very beginning.
Digging through dozens of forum posts and having tried all possible suggestions including "sfc /scannow" and other weird workarounds it still doesn't show up in any menu. Not in metro UI, desktop, charms, all apps, etc.
Then I started noticing many more things were actually broken. PC settings button does nothing when I click it, change account picture does nothing when I click it, refresh your PC does nothing when I click it... In fa

Ihave an icon "REMOVED APPS" after installing Windows 8. How do I get some back

One of these apps that has been removed is the one that I need to access my Kodak EasyShare Z1085 IS program. I now have pretty much a worthless 350.00 camera because Kodak no longer has it available. WTH? How am I suppose to be able to use my camera or
download any pictures? I ABSOLUTELY am holding Microsoft responsible for this!!!

Windows 8 "Change Camera" option in Metro Camera App does not response

I have a laptop with Camera built-in and Windows 8 installed.
Open camera from Metro desktop,click "change camera" ,find it change nothing.
I find that there is other laptop which will show "mirror" image once clicking the "change camera" function.
Would this be the camera device fail to response to Windows implementation?

Controlling Music in Windows 8 with Comfort Keyboard 5000

I love my Comfort Keyboard 5000, but the media controls do not work on Win8 apps. specifically the Music app. I have all updates installed and the keyboard/mouse software installed.
I have used the software to try and set the function of the keys, but the Music app is not available to set for, only desktop apps.
is there some reason why those key do not work for Win8 apps?

Windows 8 password change

I am having horrific problems getting my computer to start without a password. I have used "netplwiz" and previously went straight into myn Windows 8. I'm the only user on this system. I can't change my password now as entering the old password always
fails. I have changed my Windows Live password many times and can't get past the Windows 8 "old password" field..
