Windows 8 Activation- "Product Key exceeded its unlocking limit" (???)

I purchased a product key (windows 8) and activated my Toshiba laptop. But then an error came up causing some apps in my start screen to disappear too. So I clicked the reset button and my laptop was alright again but they asked my to activate it again.
When I typed in my product key I get this message
"Product key has exceeded its unlock limit"
Tell me what I should do.Please. I've been trying for a long time.

Windows 8 Pro Pack Product Key does not work

On 27/10/2012 I bought windows 8 pro from PC World in the UK and it installed o.k. with no problem. When it came to using the product key for the Pro Pack it tells me that
I can't use this key and will have to purchase a new one.
I spent 45 minutes speaking to Microsoft Technical Support (as advised by PC World after contacting them straight away) and verifying that the key I was given in an empty box was not blocked or activated, I was no further forward in making it work.
It still does not work and then I found on the Microsoft website that I could get a free Windows 8 Media Center Pack product key, but it will cease to work in January 2013 unless

Haven't receive Windows 8 Media Center product key (144 hours later)

Hello,
During the Christmas festive season I upgraded my Windows 7 Media Center PC to Windows 8. As Media Center on Windows 8 now requires a product key before the feature can be added, I requested a key as per the "Add Features" website http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-8/feature-packs
A waited the 72 hours for the confirmation (product key) email, and then waited some more as it was New Year etc.
144 hours later (excluding public holidays) I am still waiting for the product key.
I have tried to request another key, but this isn't allowed, due to T&C's (one email - one key from what i can work out). Also checked spam etc etc. No joy...

Just requested product key for Windows 8 media center yesterday. What happens if I don't receive the product key before the time limit for activation, which is tomorrow? Is there a way to get the key before it's too late, if it doesn't come by email?

Hi there,
I'm a little confused about the Media Center pack product key. After using the key I received, in Windows Activation it is now listed as my product key for Windows, rather than the one I used before to install Windows 8 Pro. So, my question is simple: if were
to have to reinstall Windows 8 from the DVD in future, would I use the Media Center pack key or the original Windows 8 Pro key, and if I used the original key, would I then be able to reuse the Media Center key with it again? In other words, does the activation
limit of before January 31st only mean it has to be used once before then to remain valid, or after this date it can't be re-activated in future?
