Laptop having problems with my graphic tablet. (Windows 8 vs. Adesso Cybertablet M14)
location:

I currently have an HP Notebook 2000 PC with windows 8, and an Adesso Cybertablet M14. The problem is that when I go to use my tablet, the pressure sensitivity doesn't work. When I went to find the pressure manager, it was nowhere to be found! I've tried
to uninstall and re-install multiple times, as well as updating the drivers just in case. The issue is that no matter what I try, the pressure doesn't work. It seems like the computer is just reading it as a mouse. A strange fact is that when I uninstall the
drivers for my tablet completely, my laptop still detects it and still allows the tablet to work (without pen pressure still).
The tablet as an individual works fine, I know that for sure since it works fine on my desktop. But on m

I can't reset Windows 8 on a Tablet
location:

I am having trouble resetting my Windows 8 tablet. It is asking to me to insert Windows 8 installation media and start the process again. This is a tablet, I looked in the Disk Management and there seems to be a recovery partition. There is no recovery
program from Samsung on this tablet since it is a SSD lower than 64GB. I have called Samsung and they have said they are escalating the issue. I want to know what you guys can say about this. I looked in the hidden recovery partition and the only file in it
is install.wim. Other partitions were WinRE and a few others with no label. This issue also happens when refreshing the tablet as well.

Why can't Windows 8 run on tablets only?
location:

Windows 8 runs great but the switching between Windows 7 and 8 ruins the touch screen experience. If the Windows 8 was just for the tablet it would be great. Adding Windows 7 to a tablet it does not work. Adding Win. 8 to a non touch screen computer
or laptop does not work. The price of the tablet is to high for casual users.

Windows 8 WORST on TABLET
location:
8forums.com - date:
August 17, 2012
Everyone says Windows 8 is supposed to be great on tablets. It's not. It's actually significantly worse than windows 7.
Issues:
Two finger right click removed-In 7, right clicking on a touchscreen was an instant two finger tap. Now it's a 2- second hold.
Touch flicks removed-Actually useful touch gestures
No start button-A hot corner is fine for the mouse, but it takes swipe-wait-tap to open the start menu on a tablet.
OSK popover removed-no more popover when selecting a text field
OSK Not resizable
Javascript "apps" destroy my "weak" processor-I can't run cut the rope smoothly on Windows 8, while it runs smoothly on those atom phones and on those really cheap android tabs.
