windows 7 where are themes pictures stored

Windows 7 Aero Themes Not Working.

Hi, My Dads Laptop has some issues with themes. I try to select the theme 'Windows 7' or 'Windows 7 Basic' and it will give me the windows classic theme in white. Why is this? The only theme that i can select is the classic theme.

hello everybody, Is there a fairly non-technical method to change the color of the windows 7 basic theme (so not the aero themes!!). The windows areo themes do seem to have an excellent basic color selection from grey to orange, but the basic theme only comes in 'baby blue'. I dont really appreciate the aero themes in my case because I use changing wallpaper backrounds that are visible through the areo themes it just doesn t look good unless you stick to a plain wallpaper solid colour backround........ I tried google this solution for hours the only way is to use thrd party themes which are a nightmare, I just want to stick to simple colours as in the attachment shown (but then with a solid pattern not glass) any suggestions/help mostl

TrueType fonts in Windows 7 - where are they?

So... how does one go abut 'installing' TrueType fonts in Windows 7 and ACTUALLY have them "show up" when I need them? We have a particular font style we've used virtually forever (since Windows 95, actually) that now does NOT appear as a font selection even though I have (apparently) 'installed' the font into this brand new computer that is running Windows 7 Pro...  I 'navigated' to the location on our server where this font is 'stored' - "right-clicked" on it and selected "install" - and Windows 7 SAYS it has installed it - yet I am not able to select it from within Word 2007. Attempting to repeat this, it says it IS installed and "do I want to replace it" - so, OK, let's try it again.. "yes, replace"... but still not availabl

Windows 7 Custom Themes Not Working Properly

Hello, I am having problems with some Custom Themes for my new Windows 7. The bar on the bottom is displaying a blocky and basic windows taskbar. These themes worked before on my old laptop, but it is now not working. I have tried installing Universal Theme Patcher and UxStyle to patch the files, but even after patching it did not fix the problem. My laptop is a Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 running a 64-Bit Operating System, 2.20 GHz i7-2670QM and has 8 gigs of ram. Could someone please help me resolve this problem? I would love to use my themes

I got it once from the microsoft store as a digital download. seems they no longer have anything related to 7. So, my friend wants to upgrade from xp to 7. 32 bit. where can we find this to buy online, preferably as a download so we can pay and install it today? thanks. Where are themes (theme pack) stored in Windows 7 folders?

Downloaded several W7 theme packs but went to a temp folder I have rather then into the themes folder.  Where are these themes located in the Windows 7 folders so I can transfer the new downloads to that folder? Thanks.

where are Outlook 2003 Contacts and Calendar files stored on Windows 7?

just got a new PC running Windows 7. Imported my old pst files to populate Outlook 2003 email and everything came across OK including Contacts and Calendar. BUT, I usually back-up my Contacts list and calendar so I have it in case of a crash and also to copy to my laptop for when I'm traveling, also to import to webmail, etc.  can't find where these files are stored.
