Windows 7 update error code 80080005

Hi, I got windows update error with error code 80080005. I tried NETSH WINSOCK RESET as Noel said in the other post, I changed the window update setting, I deleted all the files in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\ as someone has suggested, and uninstalled Malawarebytes (antispyware) and Norton (antivirus) softwares....ran fix it from microsoft which says error fixed..........still the same error message from the windows update. I did, however, got the latest windows defender update installed. As of now my windows update main page shows the following:
Most recent check for updates: Never
Updates were installed: Never
and error message: Windows could not search for new updates, an error occurred while checking for new u

Have Avast Free Antivirus on my System.
Was trying to install Security Update for Microsoft.NET framework 3.5.1 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 for x-64 Based Systems (KB2656411).
Also KB2690533, KB2676562.. etc etc etc.
Error details:- Code 8020002E
Code 80004005

Windows 7 Update KB2633952 and Security Update KB2619339 have twice failed to update.
Since recent updates I'm having problems with Windows media player freezing. When I run the audio troubleshooter to set media player settings to default I get error message: configuration settings might be set incorrectly, but no method of correction.
Also copy function from one file to another stalls, and cannot be cancelled without going through task manager. It indicates copy is running, but when I end task all the icons disappear from my desktop. When I log off it stalls on the logging off indicator,
and will not shut off without a forced shutdown. This has happened several times. These should be basic fu

I get Windows 7 Update error code 80070663 when trying to install updates. I have tried manual download but get error message: "The detection failed, this can be due to a corrupted installation database." I have tried the MS "Fix-It" button and that
failed. There are 5 KB updates that keep failing to install after multiple attempts, both manually and at scheduled updates. Please help! Thanks.

I have been trying to install updates on a new setup Lenovo Thinkcentre with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. All updates were successful except for Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems. This update gives error 9C59. I have tried a number of fixes, some related to .net, as some of the error information pointed me in that direction. I have tried the Microsoft fix-it for update problems to no avail.
Again, the error code in Windows Update is 9C59.
I am attaching two CBS zipped files, as my original would not upload, and I was thinking it might have been too big, being over the 10Mb limit. The files are CBS-1.zip and CBS-2.zip. The second file (CBS-2.zip) has three of the .cab files in it, all the text files are in the first
