Windows 7 Clean Installation from USB 3.0 fails

Hi folks,
Got Windows 7 Clean Installation over the computer's USB 3.0 port done without too many problems but with some hassle anyhow.
For the clean installation I followed the procedure of GreGrocker Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 and put the whole installation onto a 4GB USB Flash Drive.
From the computer's USB 2.0 ports there was no problem whatsoever and Windows 7 got installed very quickly.
However, over the computer's USB 3.0 port things weren't easy. I finally got it done by uploading the proper USB 3.0 Root Hub and Controller drivers *.ini and *.sys files.
Strangely enough, at first everything went well over the USB3 port and the WinPE environment with its RAM drive (X:\) got deployed correctly. The only sensible ex

Installing Windows 8 with Windows 7 Dual Boot from Flash Drive
location:
8forums.com - date:
May 22, 2012
Hello Windows 8 members.
I'm Trinty from Windows 7 forums (maybe someone knows me).
I installed Windows 8 on VM but I want to install it on my current machine,
dual-boot with Windows 7.
Windows 7 is already installed and there is one problem. I don't have Install CD and Repair CD.
My questions :
1. When I install Win 8 do I need Install CD or Repair CD for Windows 7 (for ex. to repair Bootmgr) ?
2. Can I install Windows 8 from HDD (without using flash drive or DVD) ?
- If answer is yes : How ?
- If answer is no : Can I use Flash Drive 4GB ?
That is all for now.
Please answer soon.
Thanks in advace.

Install Windows 7 TO (not from) usb flash stick
location:
7forums.com - date:
March 28, 2010
I have read a lot of threads in a lot of places of how to put Windows 7 on a flash drive to install 7 to a hard drive. But I want to install 7 TO a flash drive and run 7 right from the usb stick. Is this even possible? I already have 7 ultimate on a dual boot with XP, so the stick would be just for my backup computer which has only XP.
My laptop has Vista only but it will not boot from a usb stick so is it possible to run 7 on a stick even though it won't boot?
Also, can I run a virtual 7 on a stick? Or a virtual XP in a virtual program on a stick. Just basically because it is there, and I would like to learn how. I tried doing virtual XP on 7, but just can't get it going. I know it's me, just have to get the hang of it. Tried

Hey all,
I just got a new HP ENVY dv7t-7200 CTO Quad that came pre-loaded with Windows 8. I wanted to install Windows 7 so I enabled "Legacy Support" in the BIOS which disabled UEFI mode. Everything went fine from there. I ultimately decided to go back to Windows 8.
I found this guide but could not get my Windows 8 installation that I have on disc to load on startup: UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) - Install Windows 8 with
I disabled "Legacy Support" in the BIOS so now UEFI mode is re-activated. My UEFI Boot Order in the BIOS is: CD/DVD Rom
