original title: Windows 7 Window colour problem In windows 7 Home Premium. Whenever I select an Aero theme under "personalization", and click on the "window color" to change it, it will bring up the basic theme customizer instead of the Aero theme colors and transparency. I am able to change the background picture and sounds but not the window color. I launched the Aero troubleshooter and it said that it fixed the problem. However it still exists.  I have had this computer for awhile, and it was only since my last small update that this happened. How do I fix this?

Windows 7 NEEDS High Contrast aero Theme.

Hi, Windows 7 has a very good screen magnifier. But it only works when Aero is enabled and there is no high contrast themes in aero. This is BADLY needed. A high contrast black AND a high contrast white theme would make windows 7 complete for visually impaired people who need to use a screen magnifier. Please create this much needed feature. Tom

Windows display Driver Model prevents aero theme on 7 ultimate

Hi I have currently upgraded the operating system on my desktop pc from windows xp home to 7 ultimate 32bit. everything seems to be working fine however I am unable to select the windows aero theme which has the transparency features and i am stuck on the basic theme. I made windows do a search to see if there is a hardware issue and windows found this (please see the attached screenshot) Windows also fails to find me the correct driver required. It is very hard to find window 7 drivers as it is an old machine (that being said the machine works fast and flawlessly). Please is there anyone who can help me get the transparency features for me OS. My pc specs are: Dell dimension 2400 OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit SP1 Motherboard: D

Can you make your own windows 8.1 pro with windows media center iso?

If that is true then is there a way for someone to make their own iso or slipstream an iso image using their disks? How do you access "help" for Windows 7 on your computer?

OK here's a dumb question - I have an HP Pavilion Laptop. When I am at the desktop and push F1 for Help, which should bring up Windows 7 help, I get HP's "help" for my computer's features instead! HP apparently took over the key for their own use. When I go to Control Panel and click Help and Support, it again brings up HP's computer feature help. What the heck??? How do I access built-in Windows 7 help? In XP I pushed F1 and got XP help. In Windows 95, same thing. Does Windows 7 come without "help" installed on a person's computer or did HP actually have the nerve to snitch the key and use it for their own help?? (What I wanted to know was whether Windows 7 clipboard comes with the feature of saving multiple paste

Windows 7 "Your administrator has been disabled the command prompt".
