Whenever I click on the "Start" button and then in the searh box type anything such as "Windows Media Player" or "Google Chrome" it gives me this result that says "Programs" with a blank tiny image next to it. Whenever I click on this item that says "Programs"
it gives me this error:

Yet, I don't have any restrictions on the computer... and even so, everything is on the default options... I have no idea why it's doing this

Hello,
I have recently been getting error messages from my computer (running Windows 7 x64bit) when I open any program or go to log on or log off (except Google chrome). The error message says,
"C:\PROGRA~2\IMESHA~1\MediaBar\Datamng… is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support."
The error message window has the title *whatever program*.exe - Bad Image.
I have tried un-installing and re-installing other programs the error appears for, but it even appears when I open the windows calculator for example. Here are the titles the error message has had but all have

When I shut down my computer for the evening I get a dialog box with an error you know the one like a credit card number 20 digits or more Well I would love to post the error but the problem is it doesn't stay long enough on the screen to read it and write it down. I have hit the pause key bu that doesn't do any good it just shuts down. I would probably need to shut down for the next month to get a digit at a time to get the entire error code. so far I have been able to catch ox1 ----------that would be zeros not sure how many, but I was able to get these numbers after several shut down. the numbers I was able to see which I am sure don't help much. But maybe someone can direct me to some place that would provide the error message. I am not

Windows 7 - IP address conflict error message pops up periodically. Error Message "Another computer on this network has the same IP address as this computer.

Error Message "Another computer on this network has the same IP address as this computer. Contact you network administrator for help resolving this issue. More details are available in the Windows System event log"
Does anybody have a simple (for a dummy) way of resolving this. If I switch my wireless router and Laptop off and switch both back on again this sorts the problem temporarly but it does not provide a final solution. I am using a new Laptop and my old one
has been scrapped so I don't know where this 'conflict' is coming from. My old Laptop had Windows XP OS and my new one Windows 7. I hope someone can supply a solution to this annoying problem.

Windows 7 Pro PPTP VPN error 807 and will not connect to remote server, XP machine connects no problems
location:

Has any one found the culprit yet.
I have same problem.
VPN works with XP machines but will not work with Windows 7 machines.
Have tried two different ISPs, same problem
Disabled the firewall, no joy.
All I read in the forums is the same ole same ole, disable firewall and make sure ports are open but obviously they are or the xp machines wouldn't work.
Haven't seen an answer anywhere from MS on this.
Does anyone know??
