Cannot get Windows 7 Ultimate: x86 or 64-bit; Vista Ultimate: x86 or 64-bit, to install and run properly.

I have tried repeatedly to get Windows 7 ultimate: x86, 64-bit; Vista Ultimate: x86 and 64-bit, to install and run properly, but neither of them will boot up without starting in Safe Mode and only Safe Mode each time. I have done bootlogs on all OS's with
the following errors:

Info: How to Install your Epson Perfection 1200U/U Photo in Windows 7 32 or 64 bit versions (also Vista)
location:
microsoft.com - date:
December 30, 2010
Yes it's an oldie, but it still has its uses. Fortunately it is possible to install it in both Windows 7 32bit and 64bit OSes and Vista.
Installing this scanner in Windows 7 or Vista 32bit only requires using compatibility mode and administrator priviledges with the XP driver. Download the most recent XP driver (Twain 5 v 5.53) from one of the Epson websites, eg:
http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=14555&prodoid=9922&infoType=Downloads&platform=Windows
http://esupport.epson-europe.com/ProductHome.aspx?lng=en-GB&data=bL44wuSfVbVSVE7H9lU002Ff9dMhimU002FZaqUa&tc=6
These drivers will install both Windows WIA support and Epson's TWAIN scan

Do either of the Wireless N cards have native WIndows 7 32 or 64 bit drivers? If so, which or both?

Thanks for any help. This really matters for my buying decision. My Wired LAN was native to 7, but wired isn't the best option for me any more.

Which version of Windows 8 did I download - 32 or 64 bit?
location:
winsecrets.com - date:
February 1, 2013
I purchased Windows 8 Pro and downloaded the files to be installed later. I purchased and download Win8 from a 32 bit version of Windows XP Pro, but did the download on a 64 bit laptop. So what did I download? Did I download the 32 bit or 64 bit version? I've since made a bootable DVD. It there a way to look at the files on the DVD and determine what version I have?
Thanks, John Brush
