Nasty Surprise #1: The 44% Bug
Users have been reporting installation issues with Threshold 2 and a common topic spotted by InfoWorld is that it gets stuck at the 44% mark. User Waseemulla S asked about this in the official Windows Forum and Microsoft moderator Softie Anannya Podder explained it may be to do with SD card issues:
“We’ve observed that some devices that have an SD bus with an SD card inserted while installing the Windows 10 November update will stop responding at 44%, and we are currently investigating the issue.”

Have any of you run the CCleaner reg cleaner in Win 10? I did but, I didn't delete the files. There were so many just after installing. This is just part of them.

should I upgrade to Windows 10?
location:

I have everything operating smoothly with Windows 7 home premium. Windows is offering to give me a free upgrade to Windows 10 home. I do not have a touchscreen nor do I intend to ever have a touchscreen monitor. Should I take this free"upgrade" or keep running my 7 home premium?
My pc has the resources to run 10 but why do it. Thanks.

Windows 10: upgrade information
location:
7forums.com - date:

Windows 10 will be offered as a free upgrade to users running licensed versions of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. This is not the same as a free OS, it is an free upgrade; you have to have Win7 or Win8.1 installed and genuine.
The upgrade path is being worked out now while Windows 10 is still being developed and tested. You won't be able to upgrade until after Windows 10 is Released To Manufacturing (RTM) and is available to the end user.
The offer is very generous, but it is also a time limited offer. Users can upgrade from Win7 or Win8.1 for up to 1 year after the RTM. That is also very generous - not 30 days, not 90 days, a full year!
Anyone who doesn't take advantage of this offer will have to purchase Windows 10. Why not prepare you
