Windows 10 download, no progress
location:
7forums.com - date:

Since 3-4 days, I have the window saying "Windows 10 is downloading!".
If I click "View download progress", the window disappears and I don't see any progress.
I guess it does not downloading at all.
What's wrong ?
Thanks!

I have Windows 7.
When I look into the Windows Update history today it says:

What is this?? I do not want this upgrade!
How can I get rid of this upgrade?
Thank you.

Installing Windows 10 on Multiple Devices?
location:
7forums.com - date:

I realize this is a forum for Windows 7, but I don't know where else to ask this question lol.
Earlier I made a thread about my mom's computer being unable to reinstall Windows 7 after a factory reset. I think I've found a possible fix for this, but I'm not entirely sure.
I'm currently in the process of installing Windows 10 on my own computer via the Windows Creation Tool, and I noticed that it gave me the option to not only install W10 on my own computer, but another's through a Flash Drive as well.
So my question: after I've installed Windows 10 on my own computer, would it be possible to also put a copy onto my flash drive to install Windows 10 on my mom's computer as well? And if so, can I bypass the product key requirement t

Can't install updates, only offers Windows 10 upgrade?
location:
7forums.com - date:

I'm not ready yet to upgrade to Windows 10 on my main computer (still waiting for some of the initial problems to be resolved) but in the mean time my anti-virus is complaining that "Windows isn't up to date" but when I go to Windows Updates it offers me the option to Upgrade to Windows 10 and below that it says "Show all available updates"; if I click on that I see a list of about 25 updates and when I check off all of them the only options on that screen are Ok and Cancel; if I click Ok I'm back to the previous screen and there doesn't appear to be any way to install the updates that I just checked off.
Btw, I have the automatic update options set to "Download updates but let me choose whether to install them&quo

Windows 10 upgrade reverts back to Windows 7 Home Premium (previous OS
location:

Hello everyone, I've been stuck on trying to upgrade to Windows 10. I am currently using a OEM Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, HP Pavilion dv6 laptop.
Problem started when I notified Microsoft that I wanted to upgrade to Windows 10. I upgraded with my wife's laptop first. She also has the same laptop, but its a newer version. Windows 10 installed fine, so I decided to do mine. So I repeated the steps I did when I upgraded my wife's laptop. I clicked on the Windows icon in my task bar. It told me Windows upgrade was ready, so I clicked on continue. I let the update take its course. After 8 hours of seeing the words "working on it" I decided to exit out of the program, thinking something is wrong. I restarted my laptop and clicked

Windows 10 Updates have stalled
location:
winsecrets.com - date:

I am located in the UK.
3 days ago I checked the status of Windows 10 updates on my Sony Vaio laptop.
The status was 'Downloading Updates 1%'. 3 days later it is still 1%.
I see no activity on my router to indicate that downloads are underway.
I looked at the 'details' for the updates and noted the following:
At the top of the list of updates is 'Upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, version 1511, 10585' - this is listed as 'Error'
At the bottom of the list is 'Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB 3015213)'.
In between these 2 items there were about 20 updates listed and most of them were 'waiting for download'; 2 were 'waiting for installation' (KB 3103688 and KB2791057).
Most of the 'waiting for download' referred to Micro

Windows 10 updates.

Is there any way to find out what updates windows 10 has gotten and what they did. I just turned off metered connection and when I shut down a message comes up to not shut it off, and in startup it says to wait and started to count percentage completed. I know that means it is installing updates, but how can you tell what and if it changed things that you might like to have changed.

location:

I installed Win10 over a month ago.
So far I have only 4 actual Win10 updates since then which seems low compared to what I have read.
I have 87 for my MS Office10 installation.
Is there a list of Win10 updates so I can check to insure I have all I need ??
Wasn't there a 3GB update recently for Win10 ??
Thanks

My Windows 10 Update Issues
location:
winsecrets.com - date:
July 30, 2015
I got the Windows 10 update and created the ISO disk. The update was a serious issue because Windows could not determine if my PC was ready for the install; so I started over, got the same message. My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite Pro A665 and it meets the criteria. All the Windows updates were done prior to the install. The first time I installed I forgot to disable my a/v & anti-malware, so that bust could have been my fault; I uninstalled them..still no luck. I also cleared out all the prior Windows Updates before starting over hoping that the mess would be fixed and the update would work, but Windows could not decide if my PC was ready for the installation. I should have just gone back to 8.1 that was working just fine, but....
