whats a good Windows calendar program...?
location:

Now that Win 7 doesn't come with a calendar apparently, can I download one from somewhere on the Microsoft website?
I'm not looking for a bells and whistles one, just a one that reminds me a week before special birthdays that I have to buy a present!
Isn't there a microsoft one already?, or would you recommend a freeware one?

and reinstall Windows 7 program that I still have. It doesn't seem that Windows 8 is suited for me and I don't know what to about it

You didn't get my entire question. Basically Windows 8, that I just purchase at the was recommendation of my tech support contact, does not work for me like Windows 7. Can you have both Windows installed at the same time or can I uninstall Windows 8
and reinstall Windows 7 that I still have. I just purchased MS office 2013 hoping that might help me . And what would happen to what I've done with Windows 8 so far?

Hello,
If you are looking to buy Windows 8, don't just yet... Look at reviews to see if it will be suitable for you and if it will do anything better for you.
I suggest looking at this review-

Looking for PC Calendar program that syncs with Android phone Calendar app
location:

Hi, All,
I hope that this is not off-topic, but this seemed like the best section of the Lounge to post this in, as it absolutely relates to my productivity. For years I've used a Palm T|X which has a desktop program that allows me to quickly enter new appointments or to-do items, change them easily, and search them quickly when I'm at my desk, as I often am. Then I sync it to my Palm, and presto, I'm up-to-date, as any changes I've made on either the Palm Desktop program or the Palm itself are then registered on both devices, which is what I need.
However the Palm is at (or more correctly, far beyond) the end of its useful life, so I've just acquired a Samsung Galaxy S2, for which I'm trying to find a desktop calendar program tha

Uninstall a program not listed in Windows 7 program list

I am trying to uninstall Acrobat X. It is not listed when I open the control panel to Uninstall Programs. What can I do? I have Win 7 64bit Home Premium installed. There used to be an option to search for unlisted programs, but I do not see that option in Windows 7.
