What to do with "The windows 7 ultimate product key you typed is invalid for activation" ?

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read this.
Long story short, I got this error message after bringing my PC in to be repaired (We installed a new HDD).
My VALID product key isnt working and is saying it can't be registered. It's also not giving me a phone option to contact microsoft.
Any suggestions here?
A Friend suggested that it could be because the old HDD with windows still on it is still attached to this computer. (I haven't formatted the old HDD yet, I still have to move some files before doing so.)
My apologies, I'm guessing this might be something simple but I don't know what else to do. Even the computer repair guy said there's usually a phone option to activate.
I even downloaded the Microsoft verificatio

I just purchased a new Lenovo Thinkpad T510 with Windows 7 Professional preinstalled on it for less than a week and today I noticed Windows is no longer activated and I get the message when I try to activate it
The Windows 7 Professional product key you typed is invalid for activation
- Buy a new product key online
- Type a different product key
- Contact Lenovo to help resolve this problem
I tried call Lenovo Canada support for help and they told me that support doesn't have any Windows 7 keys and that I will have to contact Microsoft Canada which I did but their office was closed.
Below is the MGA diagnostic report. Its odd that the validation status is reported Genuine here but I get a message that I have to activate windows in 26

Windows 7 Ultimate product key suddenly invalid

I have been using this Windows 7 Ultimate key for a few months now and everything has been fine. Except today it is telling me that my Windows 7 ultimate is not genuine and that I'll need to purchase a $200 key to fix the issue. My copy of Windows was
store bought and I entered the product key without any dramas after building my computer, why is it doing this when it is a proper genuine key?

Where to Buy Windows 7 Ultimate Product Key
location:
microsoft.com - date:

I built a computer recently (as in three days ago). I have downloaded an ISO of Windows 7 Ultimate from some site I forget. It was labeled as being legal as the copies came with a 30 day trial, not as a full version. I was planning on waiting to purchase
the full license later. But certain things are making it so that I need to purchase a key now (right now). All options in the store I see are for the DVD+Key. Where can I just purchase only the key as I already have a DVD I burned the ISO to? The Windows Store
is trying to shove Win 8 down my neck, but I heard bad things about 8.

I lost my Windows 7 Professional Product Key, what can I do?

I had a virus on my computer, which was preventing me from doing anything. I couldn't run any software, especially my AntiVirus software, so I decided to get out my Windows 7 disc and just restore the computer completely. I followed all the directions,
and installed Windows 7, but then when it asked me for the product key, I remembered that I had moved the W7 disc to another case, and (I believe that I threw away the previous case, along with the product key). So currently I'm running the 30 day trial of
W7, and I desperately need to get a key, preferably without buying it, seeing as I actually own an official Windows 7 copy, just without the original product key. I really need this computer to use for schoolwork, and just personal use
