error 0x80070002 when client uses Wsus 3.0 sp2 to get updates
location:

Hi,
I have tried many different suggestions from the info that I researched about this error message. This error is only happening on windows 8 clients. All other clients are logging into WSUS and getting updates with no issues. I was going to attach my update
log file here but there is no way to attach it as it is quite large. I also uninstalled Microsoft office as I read that this is an issue with some clients . When I first installed Windows 8 I shut off the GPO from server so I can manually updates windows without
using WSUS. After computers were updated I turned the GPO back on for WSUS to update computers. I did update the WSUS by using the update that was available and all the stpees that went with it. Any suggestions that I m

Hello, I just installed and activated my windows 7 yesterday on my new SSD drive. So far I am very happy with my upgrade, but for one problem. I can not update at all. Since yesterday I have tried five times with no success. I keep getting the same error message; Error Code 80224402C. I am using AVG as my virus software. Thinking it may be interfering with the update I disabled it and the Windows 7 firewall. The results were the same. You assistance with this problem will be appreciated. Thank you.

Win7 64bit - Backup Error 0x8078002A & I/O device error 0x8007045D
location:

Hi
I hope that someone out there is able to guide me through in resolving this issue if it has already been reported and resolved.
My computer is running on Win 7 Home Premium 64bit. My computer was made-to-order with 2 HDD of 1TB. First HDD was partitioned to C drive (OS software) and E drive (other softwares). F drive is made up of 1TB of document files and music. In total, my computer storage is made up of 2TB. I had this computer installed early this year and have forgotten to create System Image and System Repair disc. Recently my computer started bugging me to backup which I realised that I might not have ever done any.
I bought a 4TB Seagate Backup Plus drive, hoping that it would handle the job as well as in case I should further

Win 8 will not restore from backup, error code 34 at boot
location:
8forums.com - date:

I'm having a problem trying to restore Win 8.1 after a crash. All I get is a blue screen with an error code.
I finally deduced that I was having a hardware problem with my beloved SSD (weird glitches and erratic behavior, occasional recognition errors in BIOS, and finally I/O errors when trying to restore from backup), so I pulled it out, and temporarily replaced it with a spare HDD of slightly larger size. The backup/restore program I use is Paragon, and it has worked flawlessly for me for some time, including when I migrated Win 8.0 to that SSD over a year ago. So I pulled up the last full-disk backup (from 4 weeks ago) and did a Restore to the replacement HDD, but the resulting installation will not boot. I've tried it seve

backup error message
location:
7forums.com - date:
February 20, 2012
I have been using Windows 7's backup program to create image and file backups saved to an external drive (Toshiba 500GB). I get an error message upon completion of each backup. Exploring the external drive's files confirms that the backup has been completed.
See attached screenshots. One is the error message (files_skipped). The other is details (which_files). The backup is configured to backup C: drive. It makes no sense to me that I receive an error message concerning Z: drive.
Is it possible that I configured the backup task improperly? How can I prevent the warning message?
Thanks for your help.
