Hi! So I Restarted my PC and since skype was one of my "start UP" programs it launched and I tried closing it. Right after I pressed "quit skype" I got a bsod saying "Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area." So I rebooted my PC and it is running fine (as of now) I am just worried since this is a newly built pc. Please help! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Shows winlogon.exe no disk error on shutdown. How do I remove the error?

Whenever I try to shut down (Charms, Settings, Power, Shutdown) and error appears and it won't let me shut down:
winlogon.exe - No Disk
"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive I:"
The drive it says changes every time, but it is always a non-existent one.
Please help me fix this - I have tried refreshing my PC, resetting it, re-downloading Windows 8 and even burning an ISO to a disk but it still shows the error. I didn't have this problem on the same machine with the Consumer Preview, or Windows 7.

Hello,
I have got Dell OEM Windows 8 64bit dvd. But when I click on Install Now button .. it gives an error
” The product key entered does not match any of the Windows images available for installation. Enter a different product key ”
It is a UEFI motherboard and I know that it should take this product key from the key embedded in BIOS.
I have searched it on internet and found that many people have faced this problem.

Error Message "an active directory domain service is unavailable" occurs when trying to find a printer in Office.

I am running windows 8 and recently connected to a network printer. That all works fine, but now if I click on "Find Printer", I get the error message "an active directory domain service is unavailable". Also (possibly unrelated), now I cannot connect
to Bing, Microsoft Solitaire or Majhong(thru xbox on the pc). It says to "check my network connection", which is fine for all other connections.

First off, thank you for taking the time to read this and help little ol' me out. I've been having a problem lately, where programs crash when I attempt to start them. It's happening with all of the following programs: Skype, Oovoo, Champions Online, Neverwinter, D&D: Eberon unlimited. When I attempt to start the program, it immediately comes up with a box saying "X has stopped working" X being any of those programs listed above. This problem used to just affect D&D and Champions Online, but for some reason, it started affecting other programs similarly just the other day. I think it might have something to do with the launchers and when they connect with the internet, because the static Oovoo launcher only crashes when I

Sorry for the ridiculously long title but this is exactly the error I get. When I contacted my friends @ Skype they simply told me it's windows related problem. I said, well but the error message popping up says SKYPE not Windows. Anyway, there's a certain irony
in all of this in that Skype is a Microsoft company. I am absolutely furious since Skype perhaps in conjunction with Windows has developed some kind of failure points...............

Boot up error 0xc00000e9 after formatting a usb drive (disk drive)

I recently had to reset my laptop to factory defaults, before I begun the process I created the recovery disk, only i used a USB drive instead of CD's. This option reformatted the USB drive into a removable DISK DRIVE. After the reset I formatted the USB drive through the properties and reset it to default (which wiped the USB clean of all files). It still was a Disk drive so I gave up on that front, removed the USB and closed the laptop lid and left.
Upon turning on my laptop it froze on the sign in screen so I did a hard reset which then stopped during boot up and displayed this message:
status: 0cx00000e9
info: An unexpected I/O error has occurred

I installed a new printer HP deskjet F4280 to my desk top system that runs on XP. I get 2 errors and the computer won't shut off. I have to manually shut it OFF.
Error message 1: hpqsite08.exe
message 2:end program -device IO notification window.
Both messages won't let the computer turn OFF.
Can anyone help me with this problem? I have contacted HP on a chat line and I was told it is a MS problem. Thank you.
