"Status: 0xc00000e9 - An unexpected i/o error has occurred" tried repair disk and installing new OS but hangs up during set-up

I've encountered a problem "Status: 0xc00000e9 - An unexpected i/o error has occurred". I've tried to repair it with a bootable Windows7 Ultimate 32bit USB but the system just hang-up after choosing Repair your computer and also I've tried reformatting
it with windows cd but my system just hang up on Set-up is Starting. Can you help me point out what could be the problem of my computer and Any other suggestion for fixing this problem? I'm using an Acer aspire5738z Intel Pentum Dual Core, 3gb DDR, shared
graphics and previously running with windows vista home premium then changed to windows7 ultimate 32bit. I just want my computer to work again please help.. thank you..

some 0.0 mb partitions are being created.

CD/DVD Driver Error installing from 64-bit disk PURCHASED yesterday

Hi, Kevin!
I'm having the same issue with a year old HP 6910p with Intel Mobile 965 Express chipset. I have tried to install a 64bit Win7 from CD and USB drive, still getting the same error (why does USB install even need a CD drive?). The 32bit version installed with
no errors.
I have tried Intel Matrix Storage update and the ATAPI drivers which you proposed, but they don't help as the install says that no deviced could be found.

strange error messages.... like COM Surrogate has stopped working, Skype Extension has crashed, Webroot Extension has crashed.

Disk clean up does not remove "debug dump and system error memory dump files"

Original Title: windows vista disk clean up
on my disk clean up i have 112 mb on debug dump files and 112 mb on system error memory dump files. my problem is when i try to delete these files my disk clean up won't delete these files. sould some one help me with this problem?

I just recently started using Windows 7 x64 and I'm having trouble creating a network profile with WPA2 - Enterprise Security. I have an Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG wireless card with driver version 13.0.0.107. I had no trouble creating this network profile
in Vista Ultimate x86, and I'm not sure what is causing the error.
I have gone through the steps to create a network profile:
1. "Add" a network profile
2. "Manually create network profile"
3. Name the profile and select WPA2 - Enterprise with AES Encryption
When I click "Next" to finish setting up the profile I just get a message that says:
"An unexpected error has occurred"
Has anyone run into the same problem?
