Just bought a PC with Windows 8...... can I switch to Windows 7?

I bought a refurbished PC from dell(Model XPS8500). It has a spinning drive with Windows 8 installed.
I would like to remove the hard drive from this system and replace it with a solid state drive, then install Windows 7.
Will this be a problem?

Hi all,
I am new to windows 8 and am doing pretty good finding things. However I have at this time 3 problems that I was hoping someone could help me with.
Number 1 Outlook is a mess. I did read that Microsoft had problems with it but that now it was fixed. Wrong. I get the e-mail on outlook, but in order to open it I need to refresh each one, one at a time to read it.
Number 2 I have been playing solitaire for several weeks. Now when I click on the tile all it says is solitaire and no cards come up. I have tried everything.
Number 3 Every once in a while it will freeze for a second and then you can move it, that is very recent. I am wondering if I need to get a program to find what is wrong, and if so which o

I have been using a PC running Windows Vista and I have gotten used to Media Center especially for TV. My new PC has a TV card but no Media Center.
Can I get Windows Media Center for Windows 8? Why is it not included in this new product??

Windows 8 pro was downloaded on a MSI computer with Windows Vista Home Basic 64 bit, After a full download the system was set at x86,32 bit not 64 bit.What can I do to remidy this problem.

I downloaded Windows 8 Pro for 39.99, after a compete download I had a x86 Windows 8 Pro system on my computer.

hello,
I have installed windows 7 Home Premium on a Medion akoya E1210 PC.
The screen resolution is 1024X600, and i know that windows 7 boot screen does't support that. But is there not anyway to force windows to boot with the normal boot screen?
