Regarding SP1 and Language Packs

Hi, this is my first post. Heard about this place in passing, so i hope that I can find this place very useful
When SP1 first came out, i tried to install on both my Win7 PCs. They both froze up numerous times and required much use of repair disc, etc. I came to find out it was the Language Packs I have installed.
For one, I want to know if this issue is fixed (I am running W7x64 on both PCs btw; both PCs are ones that I built, not factory assembled).
Anyhow, after this happened I tried to look at my updates from uninstall software, and i saw many updates, but not the language packs. I don't really know how to uninstall them. Apparently, neither does the staff from Microsoft because someone from Redmond condescendingly told me to l

Hi, I was trying to install on Windows 8 the swiss-italian, english-uk and english-us language packs additionally to already installed packages german, swiss-german, swiss-french, spain-spanish and galego. The language packs were successfully downloaded
and the installation process started. Nearly at end of the installation, the process is always aborted with the following message (example of the swiss-italian language pack):
Installationsfehler: Die Installation des folgenden Updates ist mit Fehler 0x80070002 fehlgeschlagen: Sprachpaket für Italienisch - Windows 8 - (KB2607607) [it-IT_LP]
Any hint what the problem could be?
Tx & best regards,
José-María

Not sure where to post this.
I have found out that Chinese Traditional language is not available when I tried to install it.
Chinese Simplified is available.
Trouble is, I don't read Chinese Simplified too well.
Is there another way to install Chinese Traditional language ?

Need to uninstall Language Packs but there is no option
location:

I got Windows Ultimate and decided to let it install language packs I don't need (I didnt actually know they'd take a huge amount of space). Part way through the installation I cancel one of the language packs and the whole update finishes (This was a fresh install). Now in the history it says some of the language packs installed successfully but in "control panel>Change Display Language" there is only English. I'm quite sure a few language packs did install because the SSD free space was shrinking after every install.
Basically how do I get rid of these language packs without using the control panel because they arent listed there, only in the update history.

Before you ask, I am using Windows 7 Ultimate. I want to install the Korean language pack, but no language packs appear in the 'optional updates' windows. I've installed Japanese before, so I know I can install languages. The languages are not hidden either cause I've checked. Halp?

W7 Language Packs in Updates necessary?
location:
7forums.com - date:

1. Just noticed in Windows 7 Updates list all the language packs. Are these the Packs themselves or merely updates to the pre-existing Packs within Windows 7?
2. Regardless of answer to Ques#1, is there any reason not to delete these update Packs from the update list instead of installing them? I see no reason to clutter up Windows 7 anymore than necessary.
3. I assume if I chose to delete these updates (the packs), I can check-box them and hit "delete", right?
Thanks.
