Realtek HD audio not showing up in device manager
location:

I'm using a windows 8 pavilion g7 laptop. Long story short, I wanted to have realtek HD audio on my computer mainly for the cool audio effects that come with it because the audio drivers that came with my computer don't have those effects. Nonetheless, I installed realtek HD audio hoping it would install and i could simply change the audio settings to use realtek instead of the ones on my computer. once the installation was complete and after i rebooted and everything, I couldn't find the driver for realtek. So i went into sound, video, and game controllers under device manager and didn't find the realtek driver listed. only the two audio drivers that came with my computer. The two audio drivers that came with my computer are as fo

Realtek HD Audio Manager won't open.
location:

Went into my Realtek's folder and the only thing in there I found was MaxxAudio..
I think I found the actual Realtek HD Audio Manager but it doesn't open.
If I run it as an administrator, it asks me if I'd like to open it. I hit yes, but nothing comes up.
It runs as a process in my task manager. I'm not sure if this is just part of the drivers or the actual application for configuration.
Went to the site and installed the newest drivers. Still the same problem.
My Realtek folder and the file I was referring to: http://i.imgur.com/MGhkA.png
I just want to set up my two audio outputs on my PC to be listed as separate devices. All over the internet are posts saying you can do it through Realtek HD Audio Manager.
That'd be great if I co

Realtek HD Audio: Equalizer not working properly
location:
7forums.com - date:
September 9, 2012
I'm trying to use the Realtek HD Audio Equalizer from the manager window under the sound effects tab... Anyway, I can change the values on the multi-band equalizer just fine, but they have no real response. The overall volume is affected but the individual frequencies are the same. If I set them all to 0, or all the highs to zero, etc. The final output is the same.
Any way I can get the equalizer working?
Thanks.

Inspiron E1705/9400 Sigmatel 9200 HD Audio Driver
location:

I'm having trouble tacking down an audio driver for my Dell Inspiron E1705/9400. It has a Sigmatel 9200 HD Audio Codec.
As Indicated from device manager
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8384&DEV_7690&SUBSYS_102801CD&REV_1022
VEN 8384 - Sigmatel
DEV 7690 -9200 HD Audio Codec
SUBSYS 102801 - Dell
The audio card is able to output sound however while playing back any prolonged audio, ie music, the playback is unacceptably interrupted with digital artifacts such as skips and pops. This behavior is experienced using a variety of drivers. All drivers have been uninstalled using device manager and then the system has been rebooted before installing the next driver. Also all of the other dell recommended drivers have been installed without

Realtek HD Audio Manager Equalizer not working
location:
7forums.com - date:
December 10, 2012
Hello,
I just bought a MSI Z77-G43 motherboard and I did a clean installation of Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and when it started up the audio was already working which is normal. Then I installed the basic drivers (chipset, lan, audio).(Ok just so you know the situation)
Now the volume changes on the new Realtek software are working, but the EQ presets, Graphic EQ, Environment settings, Voice Cancellation and Karaoke settings are not working. So basically the whole "Sound Effects" tab is not doing anything to the sound when being adjusted.
What could the problem be here ?

So I just installed windows 10 on my Asus N55SL (previously running windows 7), for the most part it works great however I am having trouble getting sound to play. I have tried installing the latest realtek HD audio drivers but thishas not helped at all, I have found that if I plug in headphones to the output jack of the computer I can hear sound and have found that if I roll back drivers then it works however my computer keeps automatically installing the realtek driver again.
Have no idea what to do and am hoping someone here could help, I tried contacting asus but they were very vague and basically just said there may be an update soon that could fix it, wit windows 10 they give you an option to switch back to windows 7 in the

No Sound Realtek HD - ASUS N53SV
location:
7forums.com - date:

Hallo,
I have no sound right now using the Realtek HD audio drivers that I downloaded from my laptop manufactures site. These are the correct drivers too that were on the page for my laptop model ( ASUS N53SV , ) so I'm a bit confused why sound is not working...I do get sound for a bit after I log in & I do get the windows start up sound before log in, but that's it, it stops working after that...so I know that it's not my speakers. When I went on the 'troubleshooting' section in the control panel and troubleshooted audio, it comes up as no problems detected for some odd reason... even when I download the troubleshooter for audio online at the microsoft site.
The only place that I'm getting sound right now is the Realtek HD Audio
