open a folder macro excel xp

Cannot open zip files on XP. Any Help?

I recently downloaded some zip files and found I don't have the capacity to opne them.  The Zip Wizard seems to be missing.  Anyone have an answer? Thanks, Doug.

I am unable to create a new compressed (zipped) folder in my windows xp pro.  I can right click on the desktop or within a folder and when I slide down to "New" the option for a compressed (zipped) folder is not there.

Why is print & print preview greyed out Excel XP?

Linked Workbooks (Excel XP)

Hi All. I have a number of structurally identical workbooks that contain different data. I also have a master workbook that extracts information from these other workbooks. What I would like to do is have a link into the identical workbooks that is based on a formula - or a formula that controls which file is linked. Can this be done? If so, how? I've attached a zip file that contains 3 data files and 1 master file. By changing cell F5 in the master, the formula in cell F8 references one of the data files.

Open File - Security Warning (XP 5.1.2600 SP2)

On my new CPU loaded with Office 2003, I created an Office Shortcut Bar by making a new folder and dragging shortcuts to it, then right-clicking the Windows Status Bar at the bottom of my Desktop, > Toolbars > New Toolbar > and pointing to the new folder. I docked the new toolbar at my left screen edge. When I click any icon on the new toolbar, I get an "Open File - Security Warning" message box that tells me, for example, that my Microsoft Excel shortcut is from an Unknown Publisher, and I have to click Open to get to Excel. How can I avoid this message box? See attached screenshot.

Deleting old win 7 folder on win xp pro

Writing a Custom Function (Excel XP)

Hi. I need some help getting started with creating a custom function in Excel. I'm very familiar with VBA (I write a ton of code for Word), but I can't seem to find any help on creating a custom spreadsheet function for Excel. I can write the code that manipulates the data in the way I want, but I don't know how to make it available to my Excel spreadsheets. (I know that, in Word, the concept is to create a template containing the subroutines or functions and put it in the start-up folder.) For what it's worth, the function I would like to create would be =ElapsedWeekdays(startdate, enddate), and I can get it to run in the VBA editor, but where do I go from there? Is it an add-in or a template? How will my other spreadsheets "see"
