No Sound Coming out from Bluetooth Headset

Hi,
I purchased a china-made Bluetooth headset that works perfectly on my phone, on my netbook (Dell Inspiron Mini - Windows 7 Starter) and my office laptop (HP Compaq running on Win XP). The problem is that it is not working on my other HP laptop (HP Compaq 6730B), wherein I really intended to use the Bluetooth headset as this is my personal laptop.
It looks like there is nothing wrong with the headset itself as it works with other computers.
The device pairing works well, the drivers were automatically installed and Windows said it is ready to use. I can see the headset in the audio devices. I can also see it from the mixer window. When I test it, I can see green bar coming up but no sound coming out from the headset. I also tried to d

Hey
I restored my computer to an earlier date to fix one problem, which has now caused another... I can get into doing stuff for about 2 hours - then all audio will cut out completely. Unfortunately, I haven't really found anything that helps..
I saw some previous threads similar to this and I tried going into device manager and right clicking and checking for updates on my audio drivers... it told me that my drivers were up to date. A restart fixes my problem, then it starts again after a period
of time. Also - when i go to play music, it doesn't continually skip until giving me a error message about a problem with my sound card.
Heres a dxdiag report

No sound after waking from sleep mode in Windows 8
location:

I'm getting no sound after resuming from S1 sleep mode in Windows 8 and the only way to fix this is to either physically unplug the audio cable and plug it back in or restart the computer. I tried the audio troubleshooter and it could not find any problems and there is nothing to fix. I need to reconnect the audio cable every time the computer wakes up from sleep unless I restart the computer. I have an EVGA X58 motherboard with a Realtek ALC889 audio chip. I'm using the latest R2.70 audio driver from EVGA which is the same version as on the Realtek website.

No sound from audio out to speakers

Hey guys, been a while since my last post so bare with me lol.
So I updated my PC today and when it came back on there was no sound what so ever! My g35's still have sound but my Logitech Z5500 nothing, I have tried everything, updating, re installing the Realtek sound drivers, restoring the pc, even wired the speakers up to my partners media PC and sound comes through ruling out speakers.
I have tried upgrading the bios, been in bios looking around everything is enabled, in playback device option the green bar is filling up indicating everything is fine there.
I have tried a SPDIF Optical cable, nothing, the standard black, green and orange cables, and nothing, I'm at witts end with the thing at the moment.
Hope you guys can help.

S/PDIF Optical out - No sound from receiver (onboard and sound card)
location:

I've got an Asus Crosshair V Formula motherboard that I couldn't get any sound on my Onkyo HT-R550 receiver via the onboard optical output (Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit OS) I was planning on getting a nicer sound card anyway, so I bought the Asus Xonar Essence ST.
Installed that sound card but alas, I still have the same problem.
Speaker and headphone outputs work, but no signal is recognized by the receiver via the S/PDIF. I know that the cable and receiver are fine, I still have my previous computer which is running Win XP and it has been sending audio via the same cable to the same receiver for years. It still works if I hook it up. It has an Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe motherboard and an HT Omega Striker 7.1 audio card. Both the onboard and sound c
