location:
7forums.com - date:

So as the title says, I decided to downgrade my windows to 7 again, everything went smoothly. PC restarted and I was greeted by a BSOD, it restarted, BSOD again and so on. Tried startup repair, no use (failed with 0x490 code, if thats any use), tried boot windows to last good configuration, same. I still havent tried chkdsk. I can boot into safe mode but I cant manage to get my mouse and keyboard work.
BSOD code: STOP 0x0000007e (0xffffffff80000003, 0xfffff880223912d, 0xfffff880009a9328, 0xfffff880009a8b80)

Hello, I have a new Samsung laptop that I just got, it came with windows 8 and honestly I don't like it. It dosent run that programs I need and to, but anyway, I need to put windows 7 on it and I have tried booting from a USB with the edited for uefi mobo setting and I can't seem to have it boot off of it? I have also tried just going to the setup file off the USB on windows 8 and it downloads it all but after it restarts it gets stuck at the "starting windows" screen. I really need help sense I can't run my programs, thanks

Weird Boot Message from Windows 7 Repair DVD
location:
winsecrets.com - date:

Hi, all!
Greetings from Sydney, Australia!
I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1. (English, with Australian localisations - en_AU).
I just created a Windows Repair Disk using the Windows Backup and Restore app
in Control Panel.
The program seemed to run without error, at least, there was a message to say
that the repair disk was created successfully.
However, when I ran a test boot from it, I received a strange message.
I inserted the DVD in the drive, checked that the BIOS would look for bootable files
on an optical disk before looking on the hard disk, and waited for the usual boot message:
"Press any key to boot from CD or DVD..."
What I got was the following:
"Libovolnou klávesou spustíte systém z disku CD nebo

Deleting Windows 7 partition from Windows 7/8 Dual Boot
location:
microsoft.com - date:
November 4, 2012
I recently installed Windows 8 on a relative's PC, since it was eligible for the $14.99 upgrade, being unsure of whether my relative would like W8 I decided to dual boot it alongside W7. My relative loved W8, however, and is now using it as her primary
OS. My problem is, how do I safely get rid of the Windows 7 partition? Trying to delete it causes the laptop to be unable to boot since it seems the boot files are still on the W7 partition. Is there a way to make the W8 the 'boot' partition, perhaps by
creating/copying the boot files somehow?

Hello,
Thanks for any help you can provide. I just bought a new HP laptop with Windows 7 on it and I want to create a dual boot with XP so I can still run ProToolsLE 7.0 for music recording. I read the great tutorial here: Dual Boot Installation with Windows 7 and XP and I just wanted to get a few things straight before I try to do this (never done this before). Processor is I3-330 and hard drive is 500 GB 7200 RPM SATA drive.
1a. (Do I need to do anything different from Tutorial with a SATA hard drive?)
1. Currently there are 3 drives: C: Local Disk, D: Recovery, E: HP_Tools. I don't want to delete any of these drives; Can I still create a new drive or should I delete everything on the D: drive? Is there a proper way to cleans
