Hi I would like to install windows 7 X64 with my windows 8 RTM X64 so I could dual boot but I know installing windows 7 in D drive will remove the windows 8 MBR right ? I don't want to loose all my settings and apps in windows 8 and I don't know how to start this procedure, I'm doing this co'z Hitman Sniper challenge ain't running on windows 8 even with compatibility mode.

Hello,
I have Windows 7 Ultimate x86 PC, and I want to updgrade to Windows 8 Pro x86.
I have full Win8 installation with serial key etc. When I run installation (setup) from Windows 7, i have a 2 options:
1. Upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 8 (keep all files, settings, apps etc.)
2.Custom Install (Install Win8 on other Hard Drive, Delete current windows)
I want to upgrade my current windows, but on my computer i have installed lots of video games, lots of programs, apps.
If I upgrade, will I have to re-install, re-activate my games and programs or I will I be able to play games and run software, watch videos, read texts immediately after upgrade?
One more question. I have AMD Radeon HD 7770, are there any drivers for it in Windows 8?

So I'm probably going to go get the Asus g75 on saturday and I don't know if I should get the windows 8 version or the windows 7 version. What are the advantages/disadvantages of getting each.

I was checking out new computers on HP's website and I saw that Windows 8 has 2 categories
--- Windows 8 & Windows 8 64
--- Does Windows 8 mean that it's a 32 bit system or is there some over significance I should know?
--- Since this is the newest OS I should check out how they run
I also noticed that Windows 7 64 is still available
---Is there an end of life time for this operating system?
--- Right now I prefer to buy a Windows 7 64 since the ones my friends have work very nice especially compared to my XP computer
However I want to compare manufacturers and OS's before I decide what to buy

when windows update completes, i look at the list: some of the updates failed:
Update for Windows 7 = failed
Update for Windows 7 = failed
Update for Windows 7 = failed

Update for Windows 7 = completed

(And alot more)
Every time i update this happens, why?
