I am not connected in any way with Kaspersky so have no boat to paddle.
I have been using Kaspersky ever since I saw a tv interview with Kasperksy himself about how he was so frustrated about bugs in pc's. So he decided to do something about it. He actually took on russian hackers to make a virtually foolproof system for keeping pcs clean and running smoothly. I started with 2009 and am now up to 2013.
KIS is only on my pc, on my Win 7 laptop I use MSE.
To my mind KIS has succeeded where others are not so clever. I refuse to use norton because it is such a big drain on pc resources, its not a small machine software at all. McAfee never did anything for me.
Firewalls are covered by KIS and, if you want a good freebie - Zonealarm

why my kaspersky internet security 2013 can't be installed

A few day ago I bought kaspersky internet security 2013, i have tried to installed it, but when it finished to extract all files, just appear a white box. and nothing happen again.
I have tried to installed it on safe mode but nothing happen.
I thought maybe there was virus i download the kaspersky removal tools. it has scanned all my system, and fixed them all.
any body know what should I do?

I installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 a few months ago while using windows 7 Home Premium and it works perfectly. 3 days ago I installed windows 8 Pro, after that I tried to open Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 unfortunately it won't work because
of the incompatibility issue. So I tried to uninstalled it by using control panel > programs > programs and feature > uninstall Kaspersky Internet Security 2013.
However the system can't uninstall it and it says that the windows have an issue with incompatibility of Kaspersky Internet Security 2013. So what should I do now? It feels like my anti-virus has become the unstoppable virus that won't let me having
an anti virus... T__T Please help...

there has been a problem before all my apps that I install from outside, was removed and one of them is the Kaspersky Internet Security 2013, which is free from buying a new HP 2000 Notebook PC, may problem is how to install them back? Do I have to insert
the disc again and load it again, would it still be free? Or if I don't install them back, what other apps should I put for my internet security? heres other apps, that was removed Google Chrome; Google toolbar for internet Explorer ; RealPlayer ; Saving Explorer:

Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 and Windows Firewall

When I had XP and ran Comodo Internet Security Suite, the Windows firewall wasn't running. Now that I have Windows 8 and Kaspersky Internet Security (2013), I see in 'services' that the Windows firewall is running. I thought that KIS had it's own firewall and the Windows firewall wouldn't be running.
So far I haven't noticed any problems except the following in the Event Viewer:
Windows Firewall was unable to notify the user that it blocked an application from accepting incoming connections on the network.

Kaspersky Internet Security software conflict with Windows 8

Having downloaded Windows 8 I discovered that to install the software I first had to remove Kaspersky Security from my PC. After completing installing Windows 8 I then attempted to reinstall Kaspersky but was unable to do so because of an apparent conflict.
Are the security features in Windows 8 satisfactory for most purposes?

Kaspersky internet security 2013

after a few days of installing this security a yellow warning triangle has come up over the red K in the bottom right hand corner and when i hoover the mouse over it - it says ' failed to activate the application by means of the preset activation code.
I know i installed it ok as it was alright until i turned the laptop on this morning and the yellow triangle came up.
Does anyone know what it means exactly and or how to remove it?
