BRIEFING SESSION
Just (barely) getting started with Office 2013
By Katherine Murray
This week, Microsoft made Office 2013 Consumer Preview available to the masses.
This new software still has a long way to go to achieve reliability, but you can test the tools, play with the new touch interface, and generally get a feel for this new release. Here are a few highlights. The full text of this column is posted at http://windowssecrets.com/briefing-s...h-office-2013/ (paid content, opens in a new window/tab).
Columnists typically cannot reply to comments here, but do incorporate the best tips into future columns.

Getting both of these error messages at start up. Click through the first one, then second one appears. Click through second one start-up continues loads windows and system is functional. I have been doing some research, seems rather common to have dwm.exe
issues, so not sure how concerned i should be. I assume this is being caused by some some sort of virus/worm/trojan. Ran antivirus scan: Panda antivirus pro 2010 found 3 infections but issue still not resolved. Next step?

Hello everyone,
My desktop computer consists of a Intel Pentium 4 HT processor, ASRock 775v88+ motherboard, and two Maxtor Diamondville 80GB HDDs.
RAID was set to mirroring.
A few days ago, one of the disks broke, causing the raid controller to inform me that I need to duplicate. I found which one was the broken disk, I removed it and disabled the raid function, without destroying the mirroring relationship.
The machine was able to load the operating system and was working for about an hour and half without any problem, until I opened the Disk Management program. That gave me a BSOD due to viamraid.sys. I had the machine to restart and uninstall the VIA RA
