No Internet Access - Wireless router/network connection problem
location:

I cannot connect to the internet after installing Windows 7 64 bit. I can see the wireless router/network from my computer, but sometimes it gets Limited Connectivity or it says Connected but with no access to the internet. I have used the diagnosis tools
on Windows to try and fix it but it doesn't work, and my router is definitely connecting to the internet as I am using it right now on a laptop that's on the same network. I would love to know if anybody else is experiencing this problem and if they have fixed
it. I tried changing the Physical address of the LAN connection but it didn't work, I'm guessing because I'm connecting via wireless and not wired, and I have heard similar stories from other forums that this may be a more common

1 computer thinks network has no internet access when it does
location:

I have an ActionTec modem with AT&T service and a LinkSys router. My roommate's computer and my work computer can connect to this wirelessly and have internet, no problem. My personal computer connects to my network, but then says my network has "no internet
access" which is obviously false since 2 other computers can use the internet on this network. I've unplugged, turned off, turned on, you name it. Also I know my computer can still connect wirelessly because it works on a public wireless network. Possibly
related, upon turning on my computer, a RunDLL error message pops up about how it can't find DisplayOnlineTray. All worked fine with these 3 devices (modem, router, and my computer) until AT&T had servic

After installing windows and installed the motherboard CD-Rom drivers, I attempt to connect to the internet but failed. The connection is used to test on Windows XP and it worked.

location:

Have a new Windows 7 64x machine with XP Mode installed. I cannot access the home network from XP mode. I've tried changing the network settings on the Virtual Machine from NAT to the router, as suggested in several posts, shutting down the VM and restarting. Does not work. Is it possible for XP mode to access the network?

No internet access after shutdown, unidentified network appears
location:

Every time I shut down and start up again (and sometimes when doing a warm reboot), I find I no longer have internet access. When I click on the network tray icon (which shows an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle when this happens), it shows 2 networks: one called "Network" (my 'real' Home network) and one called "unidentified network". Opening the "Network and Sharing Center" brings me to the window below:
Clicking "connect or disconnect" doesn't seem to have anything to do with connecting or disconnecting, but merely re-opens the popup window for the tray icon, which, as it did before, simply invites me to return the the "Network and Sharing Center" again (does anyone else find this

Wireless Network "No Internet Access" problem
location:

I've got Windows 7 Professional and I've been having trouble with my wireless network. I can connect with the network but it always gives me a "No Internet Access" message and I can't use the internet. I try release/renew connections using ipconfig which sometimes work but mostly only briefly. What usually works is attempting to connect to the wireless router through my web browser but if it does work it's slow. I am able to get a second wireless network in range and that was working consistently however now it is giving me the same trouble. My primary network has also been extremely slow (under a third of the normal speeds and three-four times the latency time). I have a second PC using Windows 7 Pro and I have the same tro

How do you disconnect from an unidentified network with no internet access?
location:

My laptop running Windows 7 is saying that I am connected to an unidentified network with no internet access and will let me connect to my home wireless connection but there is no internet connection there either. The only way I can use the internet on
my PC is if I connect my phone and use the internet tethering from there, (which sometimes isn't recognized).
Please help as to how to disconnect from an unidentified network!

I just reformatted my hard drive because of network and Adobe problems.
That fixed my Adobe problems, but now my network has a new problem.
My PCI adapter card connects to the network automatically and shows connected, but there is no Internet connection because it cannot identify the network.
I can connect to my home network which does not have Internet, but when I connect to the free WIFI where I am. I can not connect. Before the reinstall, I could connect, but not automatically. Many suggestion were provided by this forum but none of them worked so I could connect automatically. That was one of the reason for the reformat and reinstall.
I can connect to the free WIFI with two of my other computers with no problems. That is why I am s
