Wireless is conected, but no network access

Hi all,
This is my first post, and I am not the most technical person in the world so please bear with me! I have searched this forum for the problem I am having, but I cant seem to see the exact issue.
Two weeks ago I bought a DELL Inspiron 1545 - T4500, and I had no problems with it. It connected to my Wireless Internet, and my parents' one without a hitch. However, at the weekend, one minute it was connected to the wireless, and the next minute it lost the signal. I tried to re-connect it, but no luck. It sees the network, says that it is connected to it with full strength, however in the 'Currently connected to:' section at the top of the pop-up, it says 'Unidentified Network, No Internet Access'. And when I try to go onto the int

No network access, ethernet or PCI card access
location:

I've been using the same PCI card for years, and have had trouble over the years, but never like this. Ever since I installed Windows 8 it has been shaky, but I finally got my wifi to work for a while. I installed "Expat Shield", which is a ip blocker that allowed me to stream BBC for the olympics, and it seems to have given me some problems. I have a whole bunch of spawns in device manager under network, "Expat Shield Routing Miniport" , #129-#137, and things like my WAN Miniport have an Expat ZShield ROuting Miniport tagged after. Same with my Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller. I also have around 100 Unknown devices in the other devices dropdown. It won't let me uninstall any of these. (I CAN disable them, th

VPN Connected but no network access; TCP/IP Not connected
location:

I'm having problems getting a VPN to work which seems to be a common problem but I cannot find a solution
Basic hardware:
XP and 2 Windows 7 Ultimate computers (A&B). B is the VPN server.
Router: Thomson SpeedTouch TG585v7Xp . Port Forward tester confirms port 1723 is open
Internet access via Router or via local wireless hotspot (FON)
I have followed the tutorials on this site Virtual Private Network (VPN) – Enable Outgoing VPN Connections to set up the VPN at both ends (so I have a special VPN user set up)
If XP is logged onto the LAN, it will connect (shows connected at both ends) to the VPN using the LAN IP address (192.168.etc) I'm not sure what use this is as I can see the shares on B through the network anyway!! The VPN c

[SOLVED] No network access (no wireless internet) with WPA-2 after clean install of Windows 7
location:
microsoft.com - date:
January 20, 2012
I just did a clean install of Windows 7 onto my HP Touchsmart desktop. While the installation went fine, the computer is unable to connect to the internet. The computer says that it is has "No network access". I have a separate laptop that has Windows
7 and is connected to the internet just fine, so the problem appears to be with the settings on the desktop computer that is preventing it from properly connecting.

I've freshly installed Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit on my system that previously had Ubuntu installed, and prior to ubuntu had Windows 7 ultimate installed. With the fresh install of Windows 7, I receive an unidentified network/no network access issue.
Heres a list of things ive tried:
- reset the network adapter
- restarted the modem and the router
- messed around with homegroup
- reset tcp/ip
- tried connecting to a specific ip/dns/default gateway (which i retrieved with a laptop)
- ip /release /renew although i wasnt successful
Ive tried almost every single thing I could find on google. Nothing works. I connect fine on ubuntu and I connected fine on ultimate.
I havent tried installing drivers though. Because I cannot

Unidentified Network; No Network Access - Powerline Adapters
location:

Hello 7Forums.
I'll start off with the scenario that brings me here.
Today, I managed to redecorate my bedroom; where my computer sat on top of a shaky, wooden desk. That desk is now gone, caput, and replaced by a much bigger, sturdier and prettier glass replacement.
Before I dissasembled the computer to re-decorate, I was able to browse the internet at ease. There were no problems at all...
However, after the new desk was setup - and all wires replaced in their correct slots, I find that I am unable to connect to the internet, or even the house's network! For the past year, I have been wired to the router using a RTL8168C(P)/8111C(P) Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC. It was plugged into an extension cord, in my room, into the Ethe

Unidentified Network - No Network Access, since downloading Windows 7
location:

I had Windows Vista and everything was fine, today I decided to use my free Windows 7 upgrade and I can't connect through my router. It started when I downloaded Windows 7 and I went to connect and it showed my network it said "Unable to connect to "network"". Then after a little why, it didn't even show my network their at all. It just said "Unidentified Network, No network access". I've tried nearly everything, I'm connected now through the modem, but obviously I want to fix this situation with my router so I can connect through my router.
Also, every since I got Windows 7, I can't go to my routers IP address at http://192.168.1.1 - it just won't open the page. I was going to reset all router settings to def

location:

Well i had the problem when im doing the ICS between a computer with internet (Windows 7) and a computer with ethernet cable (Winxp)
When i unplug the cable or the other computer restart or whatever i get the message of "unidentified network" "internet innaccesible", "no Network Access" etc.

- Computer is already obtaining IP addresses automatically.
