Hello
I uninstalled my nvidia graphics card via device manager because I was having annoying freezes and nothing I tried fixed it. But when I restarted windows, the graphics cards didn't appear any more and I couldn't install the drivers back. Since it's a laptop I can't just unplug it and plug it in again. How do I get it back?

I have a 128 MB Intel Video Card. I want to play some heavier games but my card cannot handle them. I don't have enough ,money to buy a new laptop with a better video Card. Need video card that is AGP and Win7 drivers

I have 3 computers that I bought through a refurbishment program and use in a (charity) small business. They are older machines that were at least Pentium 4s, upgraded to Win7and 2MB memory. They require the AGP style interface for the video card. The video cards that were installed work fine with Office applications. However, if one tries to run a simple game (like Win 7 solitare), the screen slows to a crawl. In the case of solitare, just moving one playing card can take 8 seconds to show up on the screen.
I was told by the refurbisher that I need to swap out the old video card for one that has Win7 drivers. He didn't have any. Unfortunately, the three stores I shop at do not sell new AGP video cards. I have found some used cards

VGA port doesn't work after PCI graphics card installation

I'm working with a Dell Dimension 4600 with Windows XP Pro SP3 installed, and I am having some display issues with it.
First of all, the owner installed an Nvidia graphics card in the computer, which has a VGA and a DVI port on it. After installing the card, the original VGA port on the motherboard no longer works. I've tried different monitors, but none of them recognize it at all.
Second, the graphics card seems to be acting up. The DVI-I port will not work when connected to the DVI-D port on the monitor, even with a DVI-D cable. The VGA port does work, but the monitor seems to keep turning black and then back on every so often. I've checked the connections, and tried different cables, but nothing seems to work. I've been buying into the Windows 8 formula quite a bit. Now, with Christmas coming, and most of the devices themselves well outside of our family's price range, I'm wondering if there's a good way to buy a gift card for content like:
The Windows 8 Video/Music apps
Windows Phone 8 apps
etc.
I would at first sort of assume the best bet would be buying Xbox Live Points, but I can see they're phasing out that whole system in favor of less-pretend currency

I got a Lenovo g580 for with windows 8 for xmas. * is trash. Has anyone formatted drive in a Lenovo and reloaded windows 7 or is it even possible to do so and have it run 7 as good as xp used to be

High cpu use with java 7.13

Hi all,
I am experiencing very high cpu usage with java 7 update 13. I am a paying member at pogo.com and about 70% of their games use java. I have removed all traces of java completely and started with a fresh install of java 7.13. I have tried with chrome based browsers ( dragon and iron ) and firefox...all have the same issue...java alone is using between 60-90% of my cpu...I am using a new dell I15 laptop with dual core 1.7ghz, 4 gb ram, window 8 standard factory install...any ideas, thoughts, comments???
