location:

Has anyone had any luck creating an all in one installer? I used DISM and combined all the x86 and x64 flavors into one install.wim file but when I boot it is asking for a serial. I want it to be like Windows 7 where it would list all the flavors let you select then depending on the flavor it would ask for a key or continue on.
By the way who knew there would be 16 different install options???
Windows 8 x86 & x64
Windows 8 N x86 & x64
Windows 8 Pro x86 & x64
Windows 8 Pro N x86 & x64
Windows 8 Pro VL x86 & x64
Windows 8 Pro N VL x86 & x64
Windows 8 Ent x86 & x64
Windows 8 Ent N x86 & x64
I also have created clg files for each type so 8 in all, each covers both x86 and x64. But it still wants a se

How to create a .iso image file of my pre installed windows 7?
location:
7forums.com - date:

Okay, so I bought a laptop with an OEM serial key and I got windows home basic with it. My internet has limitations and I cannot afford to download a 3 GB .iso or image file of windows 7 home basic. Incase my system gets corrupt or anything happens I would like to have a backup of my whole OS, so is their any way to extract the whole OS from my computer to just one ".iso" file? which later I can convert into a bootable USB flash drive of disc. Plus if possible can I make the iso file which contains my OS and also all the drivers pre installed?

Hi
Sorry, but I do *hate* the Windows7 "Windows Explorer".
How can I get it to look more like it did in WindowsXP?
e.g. When I am showing any given folder in the right hand column, I want it to show me where a I *VISUALLY* in the left hand column.
i.e. I what to see the full folder structrure in the left hand column !
Also I want the "vertical lines" back in the left hand column that you used to get in WindowsXP when you UN-ticked "Display simple folder view in Explorer's Folders list". Is there an equivalent option in Windows7?
Also when I use keystrokes (e.g. Up; Down; Left; Right cursor control keys) to navigate Windows Explorer in Windows7 the bl**dy thing jumps around in unexpected ways & it's

How to cancel a Windows 8 Market Place App purchase?
location:

Not sure if Microsoft is aware that when active users are in the Market Place app, and there is a price change, the user is not notified of the price until after the installation process starts.
I have had this happen to me when an application I was going to install, moves from a FREE application to a PAID application, the user is badly notified of this. Firstly the option is INSTALL not to buy, the next screen was requesting to update payment details...
with no information about cost occured. The a blue dialog box states that there has been a price change, and to refresh (with an OK as a reply), then the next screen states that it was PURCHASED and starts to install. So without being told the application
cost money, and verify
