XP Mode - MacBook Pro - "User does not have sufficient access rights"
location:

I'm using a MacBook Pro 6,1. 17", i5 2.53Ghz, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD.
Installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 using Boot Camp.
I need to install two instances of XP Mode so that I can run native IE7 and IE8 browsers for web development purposes. I've successfully set this up on my desktop but since I am currently traveling I really need access to the same thing on my laptop using Boot Camp.
I've read in many other forums and websites that there's no problem installing XP Mode on the MacBook Pro using Boot Camp. When I go through the initial setup, I get the following error:
"The virtual machine configuration could not be created. User does not have sufficient access rights"
I also made sure that Windows Virtual Machine was run

How to access the Clipboard when I am in Windows Explorer?
location:
microsoft.com - date:
March 5, 2013
Like all Microsoft questions mine is extremely simple. After spending an hour with the on-line help, an hour working through the MS Community and getting no where, it seems to be time to ask my simple question.
I want to access the contents of the Clipboard when I am in Windows Explorer. How do I do that?
The only restriction MS claims is if I am in an application where I cannot copy/past I can't use clipboard. The clipboard icon is on the status bar. I click on it and select open and nothing happens.
It would be nice if something worked they way MS claimed it worked. Anyone have any ideas?
Many thanks!

XP Mode - Virtual PC - "User does not have sufficient access rights"
location:
7forums.com - date:
January 5, 2011
Can no longer run XPMode. Had it running fine for 5 months or so, then the other day I tried to start it and it the machine could no longer be found. I restored the vhd files from last month's back up but now every time I try to run it or edit the settings of the machine, I get the error message:
"The virtual machine configuration could not be created. User does not have sufficient access rights"
I have tried disabling Virtual Pc under the Windows Features, then restarting, enabling it and restarting but same error and no XP mode anymore. Has anyone seen this before?
