hi there....i am trying to connect my xbox 360 as an extender. i get all the way through the setup and it fails at the last step. i have gone into my firewall and the media extender is ticked to allow. i have also manually set up rules to allow all the ports i found on the microsoft site to be allowed. lastly, i tried the microsoft fix it tool on the microsoft support site. i have run out of ideas. the xbox is definitely on the same network as me, it can see my laptop and also my iomega iconnect when i go into setting and network connections. it tests positively when i test the network connection, but fails when i test the media centre connection.
i have gone through the setup 3 times now (i.e. reset the connection and put in anot

How to connect my Windows 7 PC to the Internet via Bluetooth on my Windows Mobile 6.1 phone?
location:

I am having trouble connecting to the Internet on my laptop running Windows 7, over Bluetooth, connected to my mobile phone running Windows Mobile 6.1.
The phone is a Samsung Omnia GT-B7610 and can access the Internet via 3G.
I can pair up the phone with Windows 7 via Bluetooth without a problem, however I still cannot access the Internet on the PC. The process I am using is:
- Pair up phone and PC by selecting Devices and Printers > Add a device, etc. etc. The device is successfully added.
- Network and Sharing Center > Set up a new connection or network > Connect to the Internet > Set up a new connection anyway > Dial-up. There is supposed to be a Bluetooth option on this screen but I don't have

It works on my Laptop when connecting but thats pointless because i want to connect to my PC.
Here is what i have done -
- I have uninstalled the extender from my xbox and my laptop

Connecting Xbox 360 to Windows 7 PC through my router?
location:
7forums.com - date:
September 5, 2011
I have spent all day trying to get this to work and I cannot for the life of me find a solution!
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit. I have a Virgin Media SuperHub, which is both a wireless modem and 4-port router in one unit.
I have my Xbox 360 connected to the hub via Ethernet cable, and connects to Xbox Live perfectly fine.
My computer is connected to the hub as well, and connects to the internet perfectly.
I have a HomeGroup set up in my network connections, and I am very sure both devices are connected to the same network.
However my computer does not recognise the Xbox being connected to the network, and my Xbox does not show the PC as on the network.
So they are both connected by cannot find each other.
I have s

I used to have a vista pc and that worked with the xbox 360 just fine but I purchased a Windows 7 pc 4 or 5 months ago and the media centre and xbox 360 experience is just horrible I hate it, it just doesn't work for me. I was recently off work and spent
a week streaming tv with my xbox from the net via netflix iplayer etc and that works just fine but when I try to play video from the media centre app or the video app it fails miserably. With the video app when I run it it asks me for a pc to connect too,
I can see my pc listed but when I click on it it says its not setup with the xbox. If I run the media centre app it brings up the menu although it seems to lag randomly and then when I play a video it plays and randomly freez

How to pair/connect Bluetooth audio device to Windows 7 PC.
location:
7forums.com - date:
February 28, 2012
I spent many hours trying to figure out how to connect my two Windows 7 64-bit PCs to my Bluetooth stereo audio device (the Motorola S705) and so I thought I'd post my solution in case it helps anyone else. SYMPTOMS: A Bluetooth-capable Windows 7 PC can pair, but can’t connect, to a stereo audio device (like the Motorola S705 SoundPilot) via Bluetooth. The PC and the audio device may pair, but then Windows 7 provides the following error messages: “Device driver software was not successfully installed. Bluetooth Peripheral Device. No driver found.” It may be worth noting that I had no problem connecting my Bluetooth audio device to my cell phone or Windows XP PC. And the Windows 7 PC was able to connect to other Bluetooth devices, suc
